These puppets were designed for students to practice retelling the story Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? by Bill Martin, jr.
Have students color the puppets according to the story. Then, they cut them out on the dotted lines and glue them to popsicle sticks. Attach the title page to a brown paper lunch sack and use it to store the puppets. Send home the parent letter with the puppets so students can practice retell-ing the story at home too.

This week, we read Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? by Bill Martin, jr and made puppets! We also practiced retelling the story using our puppets. Please encourage your student to retell the story in their own words using the puppets. They should be able to tell you the story from beginning to end.
They are VERY proud of their new reading skills. And so am I! Remember to praise your child’s efforts and, most important of all, have fun together!

Por favor ayuda su hijo habla que sucedío en el cuento en sus pro-pias palabras usando los títeres. Ellos deben ser capaces de contar la historia de principio a fin.
