By using Google Voice I can send out a text to parents to

remind them of upcoming events and projects. This

provides me with a safe way to contact parents. This also

always parents to contact me without knowing personal

information that they shouldn’t. I think this piece of

technology will be very useful within a classroom.

Depending on the grade level my students are in I can have them create their own Symbaloo account. By creating this account

they can save specific websites we discuss in class that may be useful to them. These websites can be anything from educational games to interesting websites. Sometimes kids forget websites

so this will help the students be more organized and have things together.

By having this free account on CourseCracker I can help keep my

students and parents informed about things that happen inside the

classroom. I can post directions for projects so that if a child is confused

they can easily access the information on our class site. I can even

upload videos. If a good percent of my students are struggling with a

specific topic I can record myself and upload an instructional video they

can refer to. I’m very excited about this website and can not wait to use it.
