Some lessons from PAEPARD’s experience to be further discussed:
• Not always easy to translate development issues into research questions that’s why it takes time to build the multi-stakeholder partnerships
• Brokerage is key to organize and strengthen multi-stakeholder partnerships in ARD
• Funding is key for the sustainability of a multi-stakeholder partnerships hence time dedicated to fund searching.
• The benefits of a multi-stakeholder partnership cannot be restricted to financial aspects; capacity building, lessons learning and sharing etc. are among other benefits
