AIS INTEGRATION IN VTMS3000 According to the SOLAS Amendments of 2000 all ships over a certain type, size and year of build should be fitted with an IMO standardized AIS transponder. AIS is an autonomo us and continuous broadcast system, operating in the VHF maritime mobile band. It is capable of exchanging information such as vessel identification, position, course, speed, dimensions, etc. between ships, between ships and shore and through information broadcaststations.

Target Tracking When the surveillance system includes radar with an extractor/tracking system or AIS transponder, the CCTV3000 system can track targets in the visible area. The operator selects a target in the TD3000 Traffic Display and the camera will then automatically zoom in on and follow the target. The operator may also use this function to investigate unidentified radar echoes by clicking on the echo, the camera will zoom in on the echo and allow it to be identified.

The DB- range of data buoy platforms are designed for open water & coastal operations where instrumentation is required to be deployed on the surface or at the sea bed and can be permanent or temporary platforms. These buoys will support service personnel at sea and include a steel safety rail. The modular construction allows the buoy to be broken down for shipping. The same basic design covers the range 1.75m, 2.00m and 2.40m diameter.

The system is modular and can be supplied with integrated solar power supply comprising up to 4 x 20W solar panels, regulator and batteries, self contained solar powered navigation light, St Andrews cross top mark, choice of telemetry system, message stencilling. Data buoys can also be supplied in standard lateral or cardinal configurations if required.

Digital microwave barrier with digital signal analysis for ranges of 50, 80, 120, 200 and 250m. The internal microprocessor uses fuzzy logic to analyse the received signal giving very high performance in detection probability and low false alarm rates.

Thanks to the digital analysis the barrier is able to compare the received signals with those generated by an intruder (behaviour models). It also monitors the signal continuously, making a complete environmental analysis, which gives the unit significant extra features compared to those using traditional analysis.

The ERMO482X PRO is the ideal device for protecting very high risk sites such as nuclear power plants, prisons, military sites, petro-chemical sites, etc. Furthermore, it is impossible to mask the ERMO482X PRO thanks to the 16 crystal controlled modulation channels and the complete env i ronmenta l moni tor ing per formed by the microprocessor.
