At the time of the questioning of identity becomes a major issue , the company Ster City offers a multilingual play (Zulu French, English, Afri-kaans) tracing the history of South Africa since the caveman to “civili-zation”. As a false burlesque conference, the two South-Africans actors deliver their cheeky & ultra- contemporary version of the history. This show is all age groups from 10 years.

The First World War was truly ‘the Great War’. Its origins were complex. Its scale was vast. Its conduct was intense. Its impact on military opera-tions was revolutionary. Its human and material costs were enormous. And its results were profound.   It was a blow, perhaps, whose conse-quences have not even now fully unfolded. On the occasion of 96than-niversary of the Armistice, the Institut Français offers a dip in History during the screening of a feature film on the “Great War”. Come and discover some shocking, poignant and sometimes touching archival foo-tages masterfully adapted into film by Isabelle Clarke & Daniel Costelle

Noella is the personification of modern Africa: creative, brave, and beau-tiful. Her name, WIYAALA, literally means “the doer” in Sissala. Fre-quently compared to Angelique Kidjo, she infuses her African roots into contemporary pop to give us Afro-Pop.

With four nominations including, Best West African Female at the All African Music Awards 2014 expect an absorbing experience as Wiyaala premier’s songs from her new album with hits, such as “Rock My Body”, “Make Me Dance” and “Go Go Black Stars”

His many travels around the world have fed his inspiration and techniques, a wonderful experience he intends to share with you today. David Milome created the company « Hurlant Corps » in 1996 to promote hip-hop dance in Martinique. From 2000 performs numerous shows whose success crossed the border of Caribbean to Africa as well as Europe. Two dan-cers of the company (David Milome and Kévin Marie-Jeanne) will offer you an exceptional workshop on hip-hop dance (lockin’, break, poppin’). Training in basic technical skills of dance with more emphasis on body awareness, pla-cement, flexibility and some improvisation. Registration: [email protected] /050 12 87 811

In a choreographer’s mind, the world of emotions is defined by body lan-guage. It was important to observe different styles of hip-hop, each with its energy, complement and help promote the message to get across. This dance analyzes the behavior of man who likes to appear despite inner suffering that eats away his very soul. In permanent imbalance, the two Caribbean performers use an inner strength to guide dance in front of a system that does not fail and sometimes seems intransigent.
