The strength of any country is a reflection of its technical advancement, which in turn, is nothing but an
innovative mind sharpened by struggles and sacrifices. This SHARPENING was NIT RAIPUR’S AAVARTAN’14 .
The success of AAVARTAN’15 doesn’t need any introduction.It not only embraces the enthusiastic students of
NIT Raipur, but its aura stretches out to a lot of students from other reputed colleges as well. Such large off-
campus participation itself speaks about the success of AAVARTAN.
AAVARTAN’14, presided by DR. N.M NAGARKAR, DIRECTOR, AIIMS RAIPUR, was a grand success witnessed
by over 30,000 participants from all over the country. The students from IIT ROPAR, IIT KGP, NIT WARANGAL
etc. participated in offline and online events of ROBOTICS, SCIENCE EXHIBTIONS, AERODYNAMICS, QUIZ etc.
AAVARTAN ’14 was not just a fest, it was a revolution in engineering to excavate the best out of the Indian
brains. SCIENCE EXHIBITIONS were the evidence of the intellectuality of the human mind.
It was a revolution which aimed to promote technical knowledge, attract and develop the talented
indigenous human resource and incorporate the spirit of scientific enquiry among the students. For an
engineer it’s not just sufficient to solve the problem; he also has to ensure that the implementation of his
solution is practical and economical. Aavartan’14 not only added values to the life but also gave a platform
to the students to dive into the depth of technical knowledge and to fathom the jewels of knowledge. It gave
technically inclined youth, a national level stage where their talent and expertise would be recognized and
duly rewarded. It was a 3 day journey where participants not only learnt, but explored the undiscovered
path of science and technology and reached the new heights of business ideas.
AAVARTAN ‘14
“Team TechnoCracy” is a group of zealous students of NIT Raipur, who use their scientific skill
to take Indian engineering to new heights. Implementing ideas and shaping them into live
structures is what engineers do. THE TECHNOCRACY has always believed in giving students a
platform to bring out their ideas and turn them into reality. The historical success of Aavartan
proves this fact. Be it the internships for bright students or opportunities to succeed in
various others off-campus events. Aavartan has provided students with vast options to
choose among. The team along with GO GREEN also participates in ECLECTIKA - NIT Raipur’s
cultural-tech festival. TEAM AAVARTAN deals with the organization of various technically
challenging events and guest lectures by eminent dignitaries to dig out the talent hidden
among young innovative minds and to give a platform to students to showcase their
knowledge.
The team is assisted by the faculty as well. AAVARTAN is all about bringing about a
“Revolution in Technology”, it is a democracy of technical knowledge, that is, technology of
the pupil, for the pupil and by the pupil.

Team E-Cell
The Entrepreneurship cell is a consortium of imaginers working towards galvanizing young minds with the finest of business ideas and marketing strategies for their metamorphosis into Global Trendsetters. It has always been a model for management. E-Cell has always taken initiative to install the spirit of entrepreneurship in young aspiring minds.
Since its commencement in the year 2010-11, it has been active in working for the students and
being their guiding light. It has always made endeavors to sow the seeds of innovation in the
budding and aspiring minds. With time, E-Cell started reaching great heights with
unprecedented growth. The years 2013-2015 have been years of note and achievement
Entrepreneurship cell leaving an indelible impression in its history. A management fest will strive to provide the student community valuable learning sources
outside of the curriculum – be it application in terms of the plethora of events that it
organizes or through the sharing of experiences of esteemed dignitaries it invites to its
leadership forum.
Vigyaan
Vigyaan is Aavartan’s National Science
Exhibition, where participants from all
over India come to compete, and
showcase their innovations. The
participants are provided with the
problem statements beforehand, and are
allowed time to prepare prototypes for
the final day. The event attracts huge
crowds yearly, and is a great platform for
students to compete against their
contemporaries, and display their talents.
Vigyaan is an event where students come
up with unusual solutions to problems of
daily life. Students excelling in Vigyaan
are also offered internships in certain
companies and star- ups.
October Sky
The challenge is to design, build and test
a rocket made of 2 liter soda bottle that
uses propulsion by compressed air and
water and which upon launching covers
maximum distance and time of flight.
Robowars
This is the engineer’s Wrestle Mania,
where mechanical bots duel with each
other to prove their mighty supremacy.
Exciting event full of zeal and spirit that
can make your heart pump out.
Sherlock Holmes
Are you brilliant or intelligent enough to
match the intelligence of Sherlock
Holmes .Then here comes the event to
prove your smartness, common sense
abilities and sharpness of your brain. This
event tests your intelligence.
An event to make you experience thrill
and excitement in the form of a mock IPL
Auction Event. The Event aims to test
the participant’s briskness and fluidity of
response, while giving them an insight of
their judgment as on how, and in what
they invest.

Wall Street
A Virtual Stock Market wherein the
participants can trade in stocks (NIFTY &
SENSEX), real-estate, commodities,
currencies etc. with the sole objective of
maximizing their profits in accordance
with the market index before the closing-
bell strikes. It gives participants an
exposure to an on-live real time market

For every successful business,one has to
come up with ground breaking business
ideas with the combination of radical
plans, variety of concepts and
uncommon brevity to make it possible to
be outstanding in this highly competitive
world. It also creates an opportunity to
develop marketing tactics and persuasive
abilities of the participants

Designers are everywhere. Photo
designing is a very vital field which is
helpful in various careers like web
designing, marketing, app development
etc. This event brings out the Photoshop
wizards who can do wonders with images
Exciting events for people with great ideas
which can bring about a lot of change in
technology and society. Students share a
lot of valuable ideas online and are
judged on maximum no. of votes their
ideas can gain.
Sports and physical exercise are must for
every individual to keep himself fit and
strong. This is an online quiz which also
brings awareness about importance of
sports in real life.
Kleos
Kleos is an online treasure hunt in
which various topics are covered where
students have to use their intelligence
to solve a problem.
Picture Puzzle
Picture puzzle is an event in which
students have to recognize the pattern in
given picture. It helps in developing
knowledge about history and current
affairs in the field of technology.

CoderWorld is an online coding challenge
which gives the utmost coding experience
to the students. Coding has become an
important part of the technology and an
event like this would motivate and
enlighten students about algorithms and
coding.

Mathematics is a wide topic which is used
effectively in various fields of present day.
Mathematicia is an online maths quiz
which makes your brain sharp and keeps
your quotient level up to date.

What fun is a Techfest without any techshows in it? Team Technocracy conducts
techshows every year during Aavartan. Laser shows and Radium dance are two
of them. Techshows have witnessed a large audience in the past years. It is the
main attraction of Aavartan. An evening show using the latest technologies
available has always been grand ending of our Techfest.
E-SUMMIT in AAVARTAN’14 was organized, with well known
entrepreneurs and TEDx speakers Mr. Shadab Hassan, founder of H.H.
High School (Brambe) and Mr.Farhad Acidwalla, founder of Rock-star
Media sharing their experiences along the journey to entrepreneurship.
They spoke of their success stories, about how they believe that taking
risk is an essential ingredient of life and failures and mistakes are
indeed stepping stones of success
The sponsors are the back bone of the tech fest. Without them the tech fest is like a ship without a
rudder, wandering aimlessly. Sponsors take the responsibility of the success of the event.

shall be declared as the Title Sponsor for the
AAVARTAN’15.
The Exhibition will be named after the Title Sponsor. The logo of the sponsors will be displayed along with Aavartan’s logo and also the sponsors will get a huge platform for publicizing their products. The title sponsor’s logo will be displayed on the webpage of AAVARTAN’S, goodies and certificates of AAVARTAN.The website of AAVARTAN will showcase their products, technology or any other information of the Title Sponsor's choice. The sponsors get a chance to organize a promotional event at the campus about the products they wish for. The Title Sponsor will be allowed to distribute publicity material during any number of times. AAVARTAN 2016 brochure shall feature the name and logo of Title Sponsor of AAVARTAN 2015.

For amounts more than Rs. 1 Lacthe company shall

AAVARTAN’15.

More than Rs 80,000
All publications related to AAVARTAN’15
will carry the name and logo of the
platinum sponsors. The name and logo of
the platinum sponsors will be published on
all the posters and pamphlets. All the
promotional videos will include the name
of the platinum sponsor. Description and
logo of the sponsor will be done on flex.
The logo of the sponsors will be included
on the banners and posters of
AAVARTAN’15.

More than Rs 60,000
All the posters and pamphlets will
include the name of the gold sponsors.
They shall be the co-sponsors of
Aavartan. All publications related to

For an amount greater than Rs. 25,000 the company
will be declared certificate and memento sponsors for
AAVARTAN.
The logo and name of the sponsor will be printed on
the certificates which will be given to the participants
and winners.
The logo and the name of the sponsor will be printed
on the mementoes which will be given to special
guests and invitees. The AAVARTAN website will
feature a banner of the sponsor

As a part of publicity of our fest, we require a teaser and
videos about AAVARTAN. The video partner will provide
technical support for making videos relating to
AAVARTAN.
The Logo of Video Partner will be reflected on the
official website of AAVARTAN and all the videos
publicising AAVARTAN. The Video Partner will also have
the right to use the AAVARTAN Logo for publicity of the
work.
Merchandise Partner
As a part of publicity of our fest, we require T-Shirt and
merchandise about AAVARTAN. The merchandise
partner will provide printing of T-shirt and merchandise
for AAVARTAN.
The Logo of Merchandise Partner will be reflected on
the official website of AAVARTAN. The Merchandise
Partner will also have the right to use the AAVARTAN
