Y. Patil Vidyapeeth (Deemed University), Pune along with The Biotech Research Society, India cordially invites you to celebrate a decade of their establishment. On this occasion, Dr. D.Y. Patil Biotechnology and Bioinformatics Institute is organizing the “International Conference on Advances in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics (ICABB 2013)” and X convention of Biotech Research Society India. Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth was established in the year 2003 under section 3 of the UGC act 1956, Government of India and is accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ grade. The Vidyapeeth has seven constituent Institutions at Pune, viz. Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre, Dr. D. Y. Patil Dental College & Hospital, Dr. D. Y. Patil Biotechnology & Bioinformatics Institute, Global Business School & Research Centre, Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Nursing, Padmashree Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Physiotherapy and Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Optometry and Visual Sciences. We look forward to extending our hospitality to you and hope that your participation will make this event a grand success. SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM Theme Areas Plant Biotechnology (PBT) Microbial and Industrial Biotechnology (MIB) Animal and Medical Biotechnology (AMB) Nano-Biotechnology (NBT) Systems Biology and Bioinformatics (SBB) Biotechnology, Business and IPR (BBI) The scientific program of the conference would comprise plenary and invited lectures from the internationally acclaimed and eminent experts. Contributory papers would be presented as posters. About 80 speakers from nearly 20 countries will share their views over 27 sessions over three days at ICABB 2013. A detailed list of speakers will be available on the conference website. Participation is open all involved in the research, teaching, consultancy, planning, business etc. from all over the world. Oral presentations are by invitation only, however prospective participants are invited to contribute papers to be presented as posters. Research scholars and students are encouraged to participate and present their research at the conference. The posters might be considered for publication in special issues of reputed journals if full manuscripts are submitted for peer-review. Best posters will be given awards at the concluding ceremony of the conference. A souvenir of all the abstracts including plenary, invited lectures and contributory presentations would be published.
