GETINGE INTRoDucEs a NEw LINE of DETERGENTs foR youR GETINGE DIsINfEcToRs

A new European Union standard (prEN 15883) recom-

mends that every washer- and flusher-disinfector pro-

duced is accompanied by a detergent that has been

tested on that disinfector and found to work well with it.

This ensures that the system works as a whole and will

be able to pass future validation.

With Getinge Detergent Line, Getinge already meets

these requirements.

Three products for almost everything

Getinge Detergent Line is the result of extensive and

careful testing of a number of different detergents

and rinsing agents. Our goal was to identify products

that could meet our strict requirements for quality and

functionality.

This process has now resulted in a new line of

effective, environmentally safe and user-friendly

detergents and rinsing agents.

Introducing Getinge Detergent Line – a full range of detergents and rinsing agents carefully

selected and specially tested for Getinge’s washer- and flusher-disinfectors. Getinge

Detergent Line assures effective cleaning, without causing skin irritation or excessive wear

on equipment.

Getinge Detergent Line comprises 11 different

detergents and rinsing agents. Three of these – Getinge

Wash Normal, Getinge Rinse and Getinge Wash Extra

– do the job on almost any item you need to clean.

one-stop shopping

you need help to choose a complete, reliable solution,

or merely need answers to questions you have about

specific products.

GETINGE wasH NoRmaL

A biodegradable, all-purpose detergent that provides

gentle cleaning action in your washer-disinfector.

Getinge Wash Normal cleans the most com-mon

items, including anodized aluminum, even at water

temperatures as low as 50–60°C, which helps you save

energy.

Getinge Wash Normal is well balanced, mildly alkaline

and requires no neutralizing agent.

GETINGE wasH EXTRa

Getinge Wash Extra is suitable for difficult-to-clean

goods, such as baby bottles. This detergent works

well even with untreated municipal water. The water

temperature should be 70°C.

Getinge Wash Extra is alkaline.

GETINGE RINsE

A biodegradable pH-balanced rinsing agent. Getinge

Rinse reduces the adhesion and surface tension of the

water, which in turn reduces the number of water drops

and lowers drying times by 30–50%.

GETINGE wasH INTENsIvE

We recommend Getinge Wash Intensive for extremely

soiled stainless steel goods. This detergent works

well even with untreated municipal water. The water

temperature should be 70°C.

Getinge Wash Intensive is highly alkaline.

GETINGE wasH ENZymE

As the name indicates, Getinge Wash Enzyme is a bio-

degradable enzyme-based detergent. It is pH-balanced

and very gentle on the skin.

Getinge Wash Enzyme is an all-purpose detergent for

use in hospitals.

For best results, the water temperature should be

40–50°C.

GETINGE wash Lab

A powerful washing detergent completely free of

surfactants and phosphates. Getinge Wash Lab has

been specially developed for cleaning laboratory

glassware, but also works well on stainless steel, plastic

and ceramic goods. Water hardness in the washing

stage should not exceed pH 5. Getinge Wash Lab is

highly alkaline.

GETINGE INsTRumENTmILK

An instrument milk for lubrication during the final rinse.

Testing has determined that Getinge Instrumentmilk is

completely non-toxic and does not affect the sterilization

process.

GETINGE NEuTRaLIZaTIoN

A phosphate-free neutralizing agent for effective

protection of your goods. Getinge Neutralization does

not attack delicate materials.

GETINGE NEuTRaLIZaTIoN P

Used to neutralize goods washed with an alkaline deter-

gent. Getinge Neutralization P can also be used for

cleaning items such as laboratory glassware and animal

cages.

GD wasH

GD Wash is an effective detergent for flusher-disinfectors.

Even if goods are highly soiled, GD Wash makes them

come out clean. It can easily handle even proteins and fats.

GD fLusH

A calcium-binding detergent for flusher disinfectors that

keeps heating elements and jets free of deposits. GD

Flush also works as a rinsing agent, reducing the surface

tension of the water, and adding shine to the goods.
