– One of the essential aspects enabling printing results of such amazing quality is the Tone Curve Utility: This tool incorporates the possibility to change RIP adjustments such as screening and tone curves. The dot screen mode allows exten-sive customisation of the screening angle and dot shape. In addition, the operator can access a selec-tion of predefined tone curves or edit customised tone curves with simple drag and drop action. Any customised profile can be set as controller default or can be stored separately on the RIP for later use, to be recalled in an instant in the printer driver. With this comprehensive functionality the operator gains complete control for flexible optimisation of the print quality.
