Love Actually• Following the lives of eight very different couples in dealing
with their love lives in various loosely interrelated tales all set during a frantic month before Christmas in London, England. The film received positive reviews because 63% of critics gave the film a positive review with an average score of 7.7/10. However there were negative reviews about the film as well as the website ‘rotten tomatoes’ has said. ‘This is an embarrassment, an overdrawn rom-com gone very wrong’ shows that people did not enjoy the film.
• The movie is written and directed by Richard Curtis. The movie's only flaw is also a virtue: It's jammed with characters, stories, warmth and laughs, until at times Curtis seems to be working from a checklist of obligatory movie love situations and doesn't want to leave anything out.
