Purpose of the job
The primary purpose of this role is to oversee the successful design, build, launch and ongoing promotion of a BBB digital information hub. The role will also include the optimisation and improvement of all of the BBB web real estate and to deliver content marketing across various digital assets that help to achieve business objectives, supplemented by a range of marketing activities to drive high quality traffic and engagement.
Main duties
Overseeing work of the agency in designing the web build, content, digital products and hooks for the digital hub.
Working with the appointed agency to work up promotional strategy including digital marketing, SEO and ATL media spend through proprietary and third-party channels and platforms.
Working with the chosen supplier(s) to conceive, develop and deliver on market-leading and engaging digital content initiatives in order to drive high quality, relevant traffic to the BBB websites and deploying effective conversion optimisation activities.
SEO Strategy- developing and delivering high quality SEO strategies
Digital marketing activities (e.g. paid search, display)
ATL activities to complement digital programme.
Managing internal resources and external partners (business groups, local delivery partners) to deliver a BBB branded content and media rich digital Hub which achieves the Information Strategy objectives within the defined timescales.
Working with the Content Development Manager to define and deliver content and initiatives in support of the Information Strategy.
To maintain and improve the overall performance of the digital hub as well as across other BBB website real estate and leveraging its potential in terms of SERPs (thereby driving visitor volumes), optimisation (thereby maximising conversion) and visitor experience (thereby increasing engagement and satisfaction).
Build and maintain effective and productive working relationships with colleagues, clients and third parties; support the delivery of the companys mission and its business objectives.
Website performance - use a range of data sources and web analytics to determine issues and trends with BBBs websites, with a view to making improvements, increasing visitor volumes and engagement.
Understand and support the continual improvement of website visitor experience
Identifying and working with relevant resources to produce weekly and monthly summaries for the Senior Management Team and the Board regarding website and content marketing performance.
Knowledge and experience
Has a demonstrably successful track record of delivering, to a high quality and to time, significant projects and their successful promotion, preferably in a commercial enterprise.
Extensive experience of website content management systems (CMS), HTML5 and managing corporate websites.
Significant experience of Conversion Rate Optimisation techniques and technologies.
Expert-level understanding of Google Analytics.
Able to demonstrate the ability to think creatively and deliver high-performing content for use across the website, social channels and online marketing campaigns.
Clear understanding of content generation and website management techniques
Good Microsoft Office skills (Primarily Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
