Bristol Spaceplanes Evening Event TUESDAY 22 nd NOVEMBER 2005 University of West of England 6:30pm – 7:45pm Building on the success of WEAF evening seminar programmes we are pleased to invite you to the Bristol Spaceplanes Evening Seminar. Bristol Spaceplanes Limited (BSP) has evolved a strategy for the West Country to become the centre for a large new European spaceplane industry. Using conservative assumptions it is likely that within fifteen years spaceplane sales will be as large as helicopters. The cost of sending people to space will be 1000 times lower than it is today. The development of this strategy has been helped by a feasibility study contract from the European Space Agency and by a grant from the DTI. The evening will consist of a presentation by David Ashford, founder and director of BSP, and a discussion of how to make it happen and how you can be involved.
