Voices of World War II is an interdisciplinary unit that integrates historical research, creative writing, and multimedia.
Students write, produce and edit a video monologue that expresses the emotion and experience of marginalized voices within a particular historical era.
Curriculum Areas of Focus
Primary: History/Social Science
Secondary: English/Language Arts, Performing Arts, Technology
The main elements of this unit can be applied to other historical and literary units, i.e., the Great Depression, Civil Rights Movement and Vietnam War.
