Alternatively, you can still use your GCSE text book, and any resources for revising grammar, that your teacher gave
you during your GCSE course.
Listening and summary:
In A Level you will need to summarise in Spanish what you have understood from a short listening. Here you will find
some useful websites to practice your listening skills.
In September you will be expected to have at least 2 summaries from any short podcast or story of your choice in
Spanish. Your summary should be written in Spanish in no more than 90 words.
https://www.newsinslowspanish.com/ - “News in Slow Spanish” is a great website which offers downloadable
current event podcasts which are recorded daily. A transcript of the podcast is provided and you can slow down the
speaker to better your comprehension and/or read along to practice your pronunciation.
