Stages of Use

Stage 1 - Immersion

Immerse yourself into networks.

Have a feeling of not being able to leave it.

Afraid you will miss something and feel if you do miss something you missed an opportunity.

Stage 1 - Immersion

Stage 2 - Evaluation

Stage 3 - Know It All

Stages of Use

Stage 2 - Evaluation

Evaluate your networks and start to focus in on which networks you really want to focus your time on.

You still have that feeling of urgency and are trying to figure out a way to “know it all”

Stages of Use

Stage 3 - Know It All

Find that you are spending hours trying to learn everything you can.

You realise that there is much you do not know and feel like you can’t disconnect.

This usually comes with spending every waking minute trying to be connected to the point that you give up sleep and contact with others around you to be connected to your networks of knowledge.Stage 1 - Immersion

Stages of Use

Stage 4 - Perspective

You start to put your life back into perspective.

This usually occurs when you are forced to leave your network for a while and spend more time with friends and family.

(typically this is an enforced disconnection when on a holiday pr dragged to places with lack of an internet connection)

Stages of Use

Stage 5 - Balance

You finally find that balance between learning and living. Understanding that you cannot know it all.

You realise that your network can learn and store knowledge for you.

A sense of calm and understanding that you can learn when you need to learn and you do not need to learn it all right now.
