On behalf of the Nashville Predators Foundation Board of Directors and the thousands of individuals who benefit from the Foundation’s initiatives, thank you for your tremendous support and generosity. We’re excited to welcome you to the 2016 GnashVegas Casino Night & Auction presented by King Jewelers!

Our philosophy of supporting charities was best said by the late, great Jean Beliveau, “Every night I thank God for giving me a talent that allows me, with a simple autograph on a slip of paper, a photograph or an appearance, to make people happy in a society that has grown so complex.” Your generosity towards our players’ embrace of this approach to their passion for this community has allowed the Foundation to be as impactful as it is. With the hockey season in full swing, everywhere the Foundation goes, we are reminded of organizations and groups that have been touched by your generosity.

The Foundation has awarded more than $4.5 million in financial grants since its inception in 1998. Between grants and other charitable donations, such as the player ticket programs and additional fund-raising efforts, the Predators Foundation provided more than $1 million in cash donations to Nashville area charitable organizations this past season. The Foundation also supports hundreds of other charities with in-kind donations and awareness drives before games – American Red Cross blood drive, Second Harvest Food Bank food drive, Nashville Diaper Connection diaper drive, Davis House stuffed animal drive and Soles for Souls shoe drive, to name a few.

There are countless other ways in which the Predators Foundation, Preds players, staff, fans and corporate partners have teamed up to support those in need throughout Nashville and Middle Tennessee.

• The NHL and Nashville Predators partnered for the NHL All-Star Legacy Project, giving 30,000 square feet of newly renovated space to Nashville Inner City Ministry as part of the 2016 NHL All-Star Legacy Family Life Center. Included was a brand new nursery designed and outfitted by Preds wives/girlfriends.

• The 365 Pediatric Cancer Fund presented by Dollar General was formed by Shea Weber and Pekka Rinne benefiting the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. Their dedication and generosity has allowed us to give over $1.4 million in cash and in-kind donations and we are even more optimistic for future donations.

• James Neal partnered with Make-A-Wish Foundation and hosted a hockey clinic this past summer. Mike Ribeiro once again adopted families in need at Christmas. Roman Josi has invited children from Backfield in Motion to some of the games through a charitable ticket program.

• Over 200 volunteers helped turn an empty plot of land into a new playground for children at the Nashville Inner City Ministry through the partnership with KaBOOM!

• During the Preds annual “Community Relations Day” in October, both players and staff members went out into the community, giving back to various organizations including; Tennessee School for the Blind, Second Harvest Food Bank, Tools for Schools and Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.

The Nashville Predators Foundation is incredibly grateful for the immense support it receives from the community and is committed to continuing to provide resources and assistance to the hundreds of organizations who offer services to those less fortunate. Without the unwavering support and involvement that you, the fans, give to both the Nashville Predators and the Nashville Predators Foundation, none of this would be possible.

This year at GnashVegas we will feature electronic bidding for auction items. All bidding will be done through your cell phone! The auction will close Tuesday, February 16 at 9:30 p.m. An announcement from our event host will be made prior to closing the auction.

- You can begin bidding for items at GnashVegas by visiting gnashvegas.gesture.com or texting “GNASHVEGAS” to 52182

- Click on the provided link, register for the event, view the items and begin BIDDING!

- After you register you will get a welcome text message. There are 3 ways to bid:

1. By Smartphone – click the link in your registration text. It will take you to a personal bidding page. Click on an item and place a bid, it’s that simple.

2. By Text – text the 3-digit item number and amount to the welcome message you receive, (i.e. 101 500), no dollar signs or decimals needed.

3. By ABC staff member in RED at the event. They will be happy to place your bids for you and assist.

PURCHASING ITEMSThe Nashville Predators Foundation requires full payment this evening or the item will go to the next highest bidder. Fifteen (15) minutes after the close of the auction and ending at 10:30 p.m. you may pay for your item on your mobile device or in the Lexus Lounge (follow directional signage). We accept cash, American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa and checks - which must be made payable to the Nashville Predators Foundation. Group purchases are accepted, however, one person must be responsible for the payment.

Please take all your purchased item(s) home with you tonight unless the Predators Foundation has agreed to set an appointment at a later time for you to pick up. All sales are final-no exchanges or refunds are allowed.

BUYERS RESPONSIBILITYIt is the responsibility of the purchaser to note any expiration dates or specific restrictions on packages. Since the items have been donated there will be no exchanges or refunds unless specifically stated in the package description or on the package certificate.

Also, unless otherwise indicated, certificates do not include gratuities or alcoholic beverages. Airline and trip arrangements are subject to availability. Restrictions and blackout dates may apply. The expiration dates on the certificates are final and may not be extended.

Unless otherwise indicated, all items expire December 31, 2016. In the event a donating company goes out of business before the expiration date on the package, the Nashville Predators Foundation may not be held responsible for any reimbursements.

Because of the possibility of last minute substitutions, the description of the website may supersede the description in the auction program. Neither the Predators Foundation, its Board of Directors, or the Predators will be liable for the accuracy of the description for the articles offered for bidding.
