March 2012
You get engaged, pick a date, ask your attendants… The next big question is ~ what are
your colors?
Hot colors for Spring 2012 are bright, bold and sunny!
How about Tangerine, yellow, or purple? These colors are bright, fun and unique!
Feeling sexy? Try Cabaret—a sensual, intense rosy/red, a great way to kick off a summer
wedding!
For those who are less bold (like me!) lilac, or driftwood are soft and gentile.
Most important thing to remember, it’s your wedding! Embrace who you are!
As I get ready to celebrate my
10th wedding anniversary this
summer I am inspired to write
about my own honeymoon in
Greece. At the time, this was my
first vacation and it was one that
did not disappoint. While there
are many ways to experience this
beautiful country, one of the best
ways to see many islands in a
short time is through Transat Hol-
idays. It combines a cruise, which
takes you island hopping and
tacks on a land portion in Athens
either at the beginning or end of
the holiday. You are able to see
all that Greece has to offer, tour
at your leisure and travel within
an itinerary all the while feeling
like you are alone. Not to men-
tion scenery that impress the
most seasoned travellers.
I was unsure about a cruise at
first, but once we pulled up to the
island of Mykonos, my breath was
taken away. Each Greek island is
so incredibly unique that I felt as
though I was in a different coun-
try each day! While a week away
would never allow you to see all
the islands (over 227 are inhabit-
ed) this particular vacation was a
sure way to make sure you see all
that you needed to experience.
While on the cruise you have the
choice to lounge on the beach at
each port, or sign up for any of the
magnificent excursions. Perhaps
the most impressive sights I have
ever seen is the Ancient city of
Ephesus in Turkey. A MUST see if
you are ever fortunate enough to
make it to this end of the world.
While you spend the final few days
in Athens you will be at your leisure
while staying in a 4* accommoda-
tions. Be sure to visit the Parthe-
non, take an escorted tour to see
where the ancient Olympic Games
were first held or stroll and eat
within the ‘Plaka’ – Greece’s favor-
ite neighborhood, nestled in the
shadow of the acropolis.
If time permits, take a day to head
off to Delphi, home of the most
important oracle in Greek history and
a magical site within a mountainous
region.
Whether you would like to literally
feel history beneath your feet, witness
the most magnificent scenery (you
have not seen blue water until you
have seen this!), this is a destination
that everyone should visit!
Contact me to help you plan your
Greek vacation. Opa!

to be able to set the time aside and commit yourself to making that change or it will not happen. Starting and stopping all the time is not doing you any good because you won’t have that sense of suc-cess which is something you need in order to feel empowered and suc-cessful in your new healthy lifestyle. Of course I am not saying don’t try new and different classes; how will we know what fits if we don’t try it out. What I am saying is to be thoughtful of the process and make informed decisions as to the path you will take. Some people really like the boot camp style of training, some like zumba, while others like yoga. It will all depend on what kinds of exercises make you feel the most comfortable and gives you the best feedback. I know that in my studio, I am al-ways letting my clients know that they are doing the best that they can before, during and after each class and that they can carry over this healthy feeling into their daily diet and lifestyle. Open and free discussions on food, exercises and daily activities are always on the menu at The Powerhouse Fitness

It’s March and I’m sure everyone is starting to think about summer and getting into that bathing suit, whether it be a bikini, tankini or one piece. I know I am!! The days are getting longer and warm-er and there’s a light at the end of that tunnel of winter. What are we going to do? How can we get ourselves into those bathing suits and in time for summer. We do it by starting our regime of physical activity and healthier eating. The real question should be...”Why haven’t we been doing this all along?” I know we can all fall into that trend of work, kids, taxi driver and chief cook and bottle washer, but what about taking care of our-selves?? Why can’t we make sure that we are on the top of that priority list for a change and take care of ourselves. We know that when we feel better, everything else falls into place; not because you lost those extra 10 -20 lbs (although that doesn’t hurt) but because of our healthier lifestyle we are now able to do more and enjoy more and in turn, so do the people around us. We eat better so now so does our family. We are more active with our children which in turn shows a good exam-ple for them and hopefully this healthy lifestyle with be a part of their entire life. Ok, getting back to you! Where do you begin? What classes or exercise programs should you take? How often can you commit to these classes or programs. These are questions that you need to ask yourself before starting any program. You need
The only one who can
tell you 'you can't ' is
you. And you don't
have to listen."-

Many clients ask weather using a serum is really necessary, and what exactly is it for. Serums are one of the most forgotten products for at home mainte-nance. They are highly concentrated and target the skin at a deep cellular level for repairing and maintaining collagen.
“Ageless Renewal Skin Serum” is one I recommend! This is a cutting – edge for-mula contains specially formulated ingre-dients and polypeptides to support the skin’s renewal process. This Serum is jam-packed full of nutrients without the use of any toxic chemicals in it. It is a naturally derived formula working in harmony with the body to help produce collagen and proteins (which means firmer and more moisturized skin ). It contains 9 naturally derived growth factors, which was origi-nally developed by a physician who treat-ed patients that were in burn units to ac-celerate healing.)
Growth Factors are chemical messengers between cells. When put on the skin they go on the skin and they determine the health of the cell...they either go in and repair a damaged cell or they recruit oth-er cells to assist and repair (or determine it needs to be destroyed and will destroy the damaged cell). Production of Human Growth Factors reduce naturally with Age so by re-introducing these factors by daily application will regenerate the skin.
When we are exposed to environment factors such as pollutants, Ultra Violet Rays, Stress, Diet will also contribute to
the degeneration of our cells.
Signs of aging are the result of the rate of deductions of proteins in skin causing it to sag. This particular serum is key at signal-ling these proteins and restoring health at a cellular level.
Study results on this serum showed:
94% saw overall appearance of skin
85% saw improvement in skin tex-ture and smoothness
79% saw increase in firmness and elasticity
87% saw reduction of fine lines and wrinkles

Supra mobile dj service
Q. How did you get into the DJ business?
A. I’ve played in live bands for years. Unfortunately, the live music scene has slowed considerably the past few years. I found myself sitting at home
on weekends with a state of the art sound system in my basement. I decided to start Supra Mobile DJ with my son John to fill the musical void. I
worked for years in the hotel / convention business so this was a natural fit. The name Supra is derived from my favorite instrument, the legendary
Ludwig Supraphonic snare drum.
Q. What do you have for sound equipment?
A. We use QSC K10 1000 watt powered speakers and a QSC KW181 1000 watt powered sub. This is a high end sound system which produces amaz-
ing sound. It’s perfect for small venues but also powerful enough to fill large halls. We also have an impressive light show. All of our equipment is
owned, not rented.
Q. What’s your music consist of?
A. Our setlist was built with the objective of maximizing crowd participation. We’ve actually spent a lot of time researching this. After working so
many events, you get a sense of what works and what doesn’t and you adjust accordingly. It’s important that the music not focus on any one genre.
We normally play a mix of modern pop/dance tracks, country and classic rock. It’s all radio friendly stuff with heavy emphasis on dance. Our setlist
is constantly evolving and we always welcome requests.
Q. Are you licensed and insured?
A. Yes. We are members of the Canadian Professional DJ Association (CPDJA) and our music is AVLA licensed. We also carry adequate liability insur-
ance coverage for all events.
Q. Do you still have openings for the summer of 2012?
A. We still have some good dates available but we’re booking on a regular basis. It’s always a good idea to reserve your date early to avoid disap-
pointment.
Q. What sets you apart from other DJ’s?
A. Without a doubt it’s the level of service we provide. With a background in the hospitality / service industry, our focus is always on delivering top
notch customer service. For us, it’s all about the attention to detail, responding to customer’s needs quickly and laying the groundwork for a great
party. We’re also very proud of the quality of our sound system and light show.
Q. How can customers contact you?
A. There is a contact form on our website at www.supramobiledj.com. You can also reach us by email, [email protected] or by phone 380-
4009. We answer all inquiries promptly.
The Gala Expo on February 19th was a day to remember! Michelle and Lynn
were there (Lori was with us in sprit) and we had a blast! We loved seeing
all the new faces, and met some familiar ones as well. The excitement was
palpable that Sunday afternoon and we couldn’t have been more happy to
be a part of it!
The luckiest person of the day was not us for getting so many new readers
on board with us here at KJFB but it was to Chantal Mallais!—Winner of a
brand new 2012 Chrysler 200! A HUGE congratulations to you Chantal! We
hope you enjoy your new ride!
Stay tuned for dates for the next Gala Expo coming our way soon!

WHAT MAKES
YOU FEEL LOVED?

One of my absolute favorite movies (and love story) is Forest Gump.
There was absolutely nothing he would not do for his one true love,
Jenny. And as the quote suggested, I believe that he knew what
true, unbiased and whole hearted love was.
Many of our favorite Hollywood movies gave us favourite charac-
ters, quotations and scenes that we look to when we compare love.
We are asking our readers to tell us what they think true love really
is. How does your fiancé show you that you are love? What does
he do that makes you feel special?
Write to us at [email protected] . Maybe we will share
what your honey does that makes you feel like Jenny!
