As a sound designer I have designed dozens of live shows, a selected list is below. Audio Designer Ubisoft (Rocksmith) 2010-Present For Rocksmith & Rocksmith 2014 I fully transcribed numerous rock and pop songs and created accurate, playable music levels for users to perform. Additionally, I designed the internal tool used for level creation including UI/UX design and 3 rd party software development. I also designed DSP audio emulations of classic guitar equipment to be used by the player. This included art direction, audio analysis, UI/UX design and implementation. I then developed the workflow for creation of authentic emulated guitar tones that players hear when playing their instrument through the game. In July, 2012 I travelled to Wacken, Germany to provide developer feedback to the European music press and demo the title for celebrities and musicians. For both releases I edited and wrote VO for in-game tutorials, performed and recorded VO for guide tracks and managed the intake of VO assets from 3 rd parties. Additionally, I managed all audio aspects of complex video shoots with live talent and pre-recorded VO interacting on-camera. Sound Designer/Engineer Teatro ZinZanni SF 2008-2012 Teatro Zinzanni was a premium entertainment destination with very high technical and artistic standards. As FOH mixer I was responsible for 20+ channels of live wireless mics, 24 channels of live orchestra and 8+ channels of recorded multi-channel playback. While with TZ I had the pleasure of having collaborative relationships with clowns, acrobats, magicians, singers, musicians, dogs, celebrities, comedians, singers puppets and puppeteers. Often in the same show. I Spearheaded the transition from a legacy mini-disc playback system to a computer sound effect playback system based on Qlab. In addition to improving the audible quality of the sound effects, the new system allowed for immersive multi- channel sound design previously not possible. I designed numerous shows for Zinazanni until the show’s close in 2012. I provided audio consulting for their tour to Costa Mesa in 2012. Audio Crew Berkeley Rep. “American Idiot” 2009 For the inaugural run of “American Idiot” I assisted in the install and rigging of a new Meyer Sound system including three large M’elodie arrays. For this production I rigged speakers, assisted in system optimization, mic’d on-stage instruments and assisted with sound effect playback and console set-up. Sound Designer/Tech Julia Morgan CFA (Berkeley Playhouse) 2003-2012 As a designer and technician with the Julia Morgan Center I successfully designed lights and sound for numerous rental clients with tight budgets and little set-up time.
