The goal, of this project, is to, in cooperation with, develop a
maintenance program based on vibration measurements on
helicopter jet engines that will provide:
– Reduced maintenance cost
– Increased availability
– Increased air safety

equipment for the last 30 years. (B&K 2513)
– Current equipment was never officially validated but has been used as
defult
– Existing equipment is obsolite (30 years old)

Estimated market – More than 15,000 engines in operation
– 1 test set per 25 engines gives 600 sets
– We sell around 70 units of the old 2513 per year, 30 years after
introduction, primarily for helicopter testing
– Replacement every 6th year due to rough environment
– This gives a recurring sale of 150-200 units per year
– Additional yearly calibration services
– Yearly conservative sale of 2 mio Euro
over the next 20 years period
