Starting a distillery from the ground up is an interesting affair to say the least, and I’m often asked, “just what the hell were you thinking?” All I can say is shenanigans happen when mad science and Whiskey rapture collide in the vicinity of a giant pot still. Jokes aside, I’m a successful physician with a sick passion for Whiskey, and few things have ever felt so right.

As a former Napa Valley wine maker, Jordan was drawn to distilling by a desire to take art and science to the next level. While teaching hands-on distillation courses at the American Distilling Institute, Bryan and Jordan connected and collaborated on Breckenridge Distillery. Recognized by his industry peers as one of the premier craft distillers in the U.S., Jordan is the creative force behind our products.

Hand-harvested alpine herbs mingle with ancient bitter roots and spicy dried fruits in a symphony of aromas and flavors that recall the mystery of old world alchemy. This exquisite aperitif bitters strikes a remarkable balance of alluring aromatics and bittersweet flavors that will inspire the adventurous imbiber to the last sip.

SIX CHAIR1.5 oz Breckenridge Bourbon.75 oz Grapefruit juice.5 oz Lillet Rouge.5 oz St Germaine Elderflower Liqueur1 Rosemary sprig

Add first four ingredients to a cocktail shaker, add ice. Shake briefly to combine and chill. Strain into wine glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with rosemary sprig.

HEART BRECKER 1.75 oz Breckenridge Bourbon 1.5 oz White cranberry juice 10 Rosewater drops.25 oz Lemon juice1 Griotte cherry Prosecco (or Brut Champagne)

In a shaker, mix the above ingredients, then add 10 drops of rosewater. Shake and strain into champagne flute. Top with a splash of Prosecco (or Brut Champagne), garnish with 1 speared Griotte cherry.

Muddle kiwi in shaker then stir in agave nectar. Add Breck Vodka, Aperol, and ice. Shake and strain into tall glass with ice. Garnish with one drop Worcestershire and a kiwi slice.

ROCKY FORD1.5 oz Breckenridge Vodka.5 Cup diced cucumber7 Cilantro leaves.5 oz Campari2 oz Simple syrup1.25 tsp Rose syrupJuice of one lime

Muddle cucumber and cilantro in a shaker. Add ice and remaining ingredients. Shake and strain into glass filled with ice. Garnish with cilantro sprig and/or cucumber stave.

4202 oz Breckenridge Vodka, Hibiscus infused*1.5 oz Raw agave nectar1.5 tsp Tangerine syrup1 tsp MezcalJuice half a limeTangerine wheel for garnish

Dissolve agave nectar with Breck Vodka in a shaker. Add remaining ingredients with ice. Shake and strain into collins glass with ice. Garnish with tangerine wheel.

*Hibiscus infused Breckenridge Vodka: Ratio is 4 oz Vodka to 1 tsp dried Hibiscus flowers. Let stand 2 hours then strain. Keeps for 1 week in the fridge.
