The intelligent operating system IBS® is a Building Automation Software for the process visualisation of systems of the Building Automation Due to its easy-to-operate and clear graphical operator interface in the Look & Feel mode of a typical Windows application, all informations of the connected automation and field level are visualized by graphical installation schemes and tables in attractive and self-explanatory dialogues

■ SQL data base system ■ Client/Server technology ■ Central data keeping. ■ Multitasking/MultiUser – multi-user operation ■ Operation in Internet Browser Standard ■ Bulk user and access rights ■ Client capable The IBS-System manages in a craft and property overlapping way the operation, control and operational check of your systems. The access to the historical database (archive and trend protocols) provides the operator the necessary informations how to optimize the installations, increase the availability and/or lifetime and reduce the energy costs.

Thereby the IBS system exceeds the requirements defined by VDI, AMEV and DIN on management systems of building automation and it includes among others the following functions: ■ graphical visualization of the system informations ■ operational control, operation analysis. industrial management ■ operation of parameters/set points ■ time-dependent switching with time schedule and calendar ■ alarm management and alarm routing ■ Trend record ■ long-term data archiving and evaluation ■ operation analysis ■ consumption control and energy optimization ■ programmable links ■ overall logging and fault statistics ■ registration of operating times ■ limit monitoring ■ event depending issue of orders ■ network recovery and follow-up circuit ■ plant control ■ command control ■ time synchronization The basic difference to brand- bounded building control systems is the brand neutrality of the IBS® system. Thus automation devices and bus systems from most different manufacturers may be connected at the same time and/or in a mixed mode on the uniform operator interface of the IBS® system. The intuitive, uniform operation of all switched systems and brands guarantees a safe and quick overview. Flexible parameterization to the system-overlapping, bidirectional data exchange between the connected automation devices of any manufacturers also without having programming knowledge . Operation places of the IBS-Management System: ■ Industrial buildings, airports ■ Schools, event centres ■ Barracks, banks, administrative buildings ■ Hospitals, clinics ■ Central property administrations of municipalities, energy and FM providers.

It’s the mixture that counts

Management and Operating Unit Advantages of the brand neutral Building Management System IBS:

We offer among others interfaces/production modules for the following systems:

■ Cost reduction due to an increased competition

in case of future MSR- extensions or renovations by separating the automation and management level.

■ No binding to the manufacturer

(automation and guide level) ■ The acquisition of the Software is not

subject to any competitive restrictions ■ Craft and system overlapping data exchange

(HKL, light, energy...) ■ Return-on-Investment for the integration of

present and future transmission standards ■ Utilization of commercial server and network

hardware, Windows Operating System, SQL database

■ Over-the-counter Building Control development tools

■ Reduced training need for Building Control operators and administrators

■ Uniform manufacturer-overlapping

operating and identification system ■ German operator guidance and

documentation ■ Multilingual with user-dependent

language shift to runtime ■ Competition in Building Management

services by a number of IBS®System- partners all over the Federal Republic

■ Replacement of existing and owned Building

Management Systems by a future phased renovation of the automation level by maintaining the overall functionality. Already existing installation images and information points remain existent.

■ Connection of external properties with mixed

inventory solutions
