PROPER LOGO USAGE The redtag.ca logo’s primary use on white is the red logo with a black string for the tag and a black dot.
If the logo is being placed on a coloured background, the white knockout version of the logo should be used.
If the logo is being placed on an image, the logo use should be determined by the darkness or business of the background. If the background is too busy, place a light or dark layer for the logo to sit on.

INCORRECT LOGO USAGE The redtag.ca logo can not be altered in any way. The following rules should beadhered to at all times.
Do not stretch.Do not use the logo without the tag.Do not put the logo on a clashing colour.Do not put the logo on a busy background where the logo won’t be visible.Do not ad a gradient, drop shadow, stroke or any other effects.Do not apply a transparent effect.

logoLOGO MARGINSThe redtag.ca logo should always be surrounded by a minimum area of space.A margin of clear space equivalent to the height of the ‘e’ is drawn around thelogo to create the invisible boundary of the area of isolation. The mark has a clearspace equal to half the width. These areas of separation are a minimum and should be increased wherever possible.
LOGO SIZEThere are no predetermined sizes for the redtag.ca logo. Scale and proportion should be determined by the available space, aesthetics, function and visibility.
There is no preset maximum size for the redtag.ca logo. Minimum size shown.
TEXT USE When used in text, redtag.ca should be all lowercase letters, no spaces and used as the full site name with .ca as shown in the example.
Logo should not be used smaller than 1” wide.

When using the redtag.ca logo on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), will have a small logo in the bottom corner either using the primary logo on a white block or the knocked out logo on a red block.
The size of the block is the minimum space (using the ‘e’) around the logo.

Another way to display the redtag.ca logo on social media posts is using the tag icon in a circle — similar to how it’s displayed on the homepage of the website. This will be used later down the line once the tag icon on it’s own is more recognizable over time.
