 Q. Will the new products make my hair look staticy or frizzy?

 Q. Why is Melaleuca selling aerosol hair sprays?   

A. Melaleuca is now selling aerosol hair sprays in response to many, many requests. Aerosol hair  sprays have a unique performance that can’t be duplicated in any other type of packaging.   

 The propellants Melaleuca uses in Affinia and Sei Bella Hair Care products are not hazardous and  have been approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as safe for the atmosphere. Our aerosol products do not contain CFCs (chloro‐fluro‐carbons).

A. The aerosol hairsprays in both the Affinia and Sei Bella Luxury Hair Care lines offer firm hold while the natural hold hairsprays in the traditional pump bottle deliver natural hold.  

  Scientific Facts Sulfate‐Free Q. What does sulfate‐free mean?    

A. Sulfates‐free means that our formulas do not contain any sulfates—the synthetic cleaning agents that cause shampoo to lather but can damage hair by stripping out natural moisture.  

 Q. Are sulfates bad for you or the environment?  

A. Most sulfates are biodegradable. Extensive research has also shown that sulfates do not cause health hazards. However, sulfates are harsh cleansers and can be irritating to the scalp and eyes. Sulfates are especially harsh on hair, causing moisture loss and accelerated fading of color‐treated hair.  

 

Gluten Free Q. Are any hair care products gluten free?  

A. Yes! All Affinia and Sei Bella Luxury Hair Care products are gluten free. Sei Bella Luxury Hair Care products may list barley as an ingredient, but all the gluten proteins are removed during formulation. We have certification that both hair care lines are gluten free.

A. Because there are many variations of hair type within any ethnicity, determine if you hair is oily, normal, dry, or extremely dry. The drier your hair type, the more moisture you need.

A. Affinia Shampoos are sulfate‐free, so they are gentler on the hair. They won’t damage hair or strip it, allowing hair to retain its natural health and moisture. Affinia won’t strip away color like 

sulfate‐based shampoos, but it does not offer the supreme color protection found in Sei Bella. You won’t find a specific formula for color‐treated hair. That’s because all Affinia Shampoos and Conditioners are safe for color‐treated hair and don’t contribute to fading.
