Our Values At Hospice Associates, we believe that when a cure is no longer possible, individuals with a life-limiting illness deserve an end-of-life care plan built on knowledge, compassion, and access to services designed to fit their specific needs.

Our Hospice Programs

Pre-Hospice Care Program When a decision to enter a hospice program is not yet acceptable to the patient or caregivers facing a life-

limiting illness, we will voluntarily coordinate a pre-hospice palliative management program supervised by our

medical directors until such a time when transitioning to hospice becomes desirable.

Home Based Program Most patients facing a life-limiting illness qualify and will prefer to receive hospice services in the privacy and

comfort of familiar surroundings at home. Hospice care is a service that transcends locations and can be

provided at any site that meets the necessary criteria set by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services,

including a private home setting.

Intravenous Therapy Program When pain control can no longer be achieved effectively with oral and topical medications, we can provide

intravenous medications using micro-pumps and other devices programmed to deliver adjustable doses to

achieve comfort goals. Our staff will provide equipment, training and assistance to reliable caregivers to help

provide hospital-quality pain management at home.

Inpatient Hospice Program When hospice care at home is no longer an option due to the severity and acuity of symptoms, or when there

is a caregiver breakdown situation, we provide and coordinate with insurance carriers transition to our

inpatient hospice programs.
