The Mayo Clinic Cancer Education Program, in collaboration with Brains Together for a Cure and The Sontag Foundation, is pleased to offer this patient education symposium.
This educational event is for patients, their families and the public who are interested in exploring health care issues surrounding brain tumors.
Symposium Goals:
Learn the importance of genetics in brain tumor research
Discuss innovative options for treating brain tumors
Discuss strategies for the challenges of living with a brain tumor
Explore the use of dietary herbs and supplements in cancer care
Learn practical approaches to decrease stress and increase resilience
Identify tips for managing symptoms and long-term treatment effects
Hear personal stories from brain tumor survivors
