Dear All
I hope you like our 2012 catalogue. It includes a completelist of all our books along with fuller details on thosepublished during 2012. The catalogue is also available todownload from our website.
We now have an impressive portfolio of country, regional, city, UK and wildlife guides. However, we also publishstand-alone titles on topics that are close to our heart and,in 2012 launch our new series of travel narratives includingthe revival of the wildlife classic, The Marsh Lions and thetale of a journey around Ireland by our very own Hilary Bradt, Connemara Mollie.
Each Bradt country guide is a one-of-a-kind expression of the author’s interests, personality, expertise and passion for telling it how it really is. We are still ‘gettingthere first’ with new titles such as Somaliland, Palestine and Swaziland.
In keeping with the current trend for ‘staycations’, Britain is high on our list, butwith guides that encourage visitors to slow down and savour what is good and outof the ordinary. New titles for 2012 visit Dorset, Cornwall and Northumberland. Intime for the Olympics and Diamond Jubilee, we are relaunching Ben le Vay’sEccentric London with a snazzy new cover and updates.
Many of our books also make perfect gifts. These include our new series of travelnarratives, our bestselling Bus-Pass Britain and, new this summer, Swimming withDolphins, Tracking Gorillas.
Finally I'd like to mention that we have new trade sales representation from FaberFactory Plus, in the UK and Ireland. Please see page 24 for details.
