wedding Bells
Wedding bells rang on July 1st
for Eddie and Michelle Gro-ver. A small ceremony was
performed on Honeymoon Island to cel-ebrate the love between two people who have found a second chance in happiness with each other.
The rainy skies parted and a double rainbow announced the beginning of the ceremony while a glorious sunset con-cluded the blessed event.
A lovely evening was had by all!

dhs shifts Focus to deporting Criminals
The Obama administration has unveiled a significant change regarding immigration policy in
this country. Under the new rules, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security will reassess some 300,000 deportation cases, in an effort to focus on deporting criminals, while dismissing the cases of those illegal immigrants who pose little threat to public safety.
In addition, immigration officials will determine case by case priority by con-sidering how long someone has been in the country, their level of schooling, any military service and their ties to the community.
Editor’s note: These new rules do NOT remove people on the illegal immigrant list, it only prioritizes which illegals the system should pay attention to first. It does NOT automatically give legal status.

ingredientsPudding:• 2 tablespoons butter• 1 teaspoon white vinegar• 1/2 cup milk• 1 cup superfine sugar• 2 eggs• 1 tablespoon apricot jelly• 1 1/3 cups cake flour• 1 teaspoon baking soda• 1 pinch saltSauce:• 1 cup heavy cream• 1/2 cup butter• 1/2 cup white sugar• 1/2 cup water, orange juice, or sherry
directions1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In
a small saucepan over low heat, melt 2 tablespoons butter or margarine together with vinegar and milk. Remove from heat, and set aside. Meanwhile, sift flour, baking soda, and salt together into a separate bowl.
2. Beat 1 cup sugar and eggs with an electric mixer on high speed until fluffy and light colored, about 5 minutes. Gradually mix in the apricot jam. Fold the dry ingre-dients into the egg mixture alternately with warmed milk mixture using a spatula. Pour batter into a greased, 1 quart oven-proof baking dish.
3. Bake approx. 45 minutes, or until an inserted knife comes out clean.
4. Place cream, butter, 1/2 cup sugar, and water in a saucepan and stir over moderate heat until the butter has melted and sugar is dissolved. Do not allow the mixture to boil.
5. Remove pudding from the oven, pierce several times with a skewer or fork, and pour the hot cream mixture immediately over the pudding. Serve hot or cold.

Monica Maree, daughter of popular singer Lucas Maree sang together with her father in concerts around the world until
his recent passing earlier this year. Monica is currently looking for contacts in the USA and Canada to help her organise a concert tour.
The Marees have been well received in Australia, New Zealand, Tasmania, Holland and England too, where folks enjoyed listening to the Afrikaans songs and liedjies.
If you, or perhaps someone you know is interested in helping organise such a tour, please contact Monica at [email protected]
field hockey enthusiasts. The team in-cludes players from Trinidad, Guyana, France, and Ghana, Kenya and South Af-rica as well as many cities in North America known to be hockey hot spots. Skill levels range from high school to national level. The Grasshoppers travel and compete in many tournaments around the state of Florida and the southeastern US, and enjoy camaraderie on and off the field.
The team welcomes one and all to join in the fun, and based on their continuing suc-cess, many are taking them up on the offer.

The Grover family has opened their own car performance shop – Chilly Performance!
On June 1, Kenny and Edmond Grover decided to take the plunge and bring their high performance racing specialties to the community. True to their slogan “If you can dream it, we can build it,”
Kenny and Eddie’s skills are unparal-leled. Custom fabrications, engine and transaxle rebuilds, turbo conversions and custom exhaust systems are just a sampling of their many talents. Don’t have a high performance race car – not to worry! They also perform routine repairs and mainte-nance services on all makes and models at a reasonable price.
The shop, located on Anderson Road just south of Waters, is also currently be-ing remodeled by the whole family. The 10,000 sq. foot space has plenty of room for expansion and the family already has plans for that future use.
Stop by the shop for a visit at 8021 An-derson Rd Tampa 33634 or check out their web site for even more info and pictures at www.chillyperformance.com

I went bass fishing this morning at
Groendal Dam, but after a while I ran out of bait. Then I saw a puffadder with a dead lizard in its mouth.
Lizards are good bait for bass.
Knowing the snake couldn’t bite me with the lizard in its mouth, I grabbed it right behind the head, took the lizard, and put it in my bait bucket.
Now the dilemma was how to release the snake without get-ting bitten.
So, I grabbed my bottle of Klipdrift and poured a little brandy into its mouth.
His eyes rolled back, and he went limp. I then released him without incident and carried on fishing, using the lizard as bait.
A little while later, I felt a nudge against my foot.
I looked down and there was that same snake with two more lizards in its mouth.

A lady goes to the bar on a c ru i se sh ip and orders a
Scotch with two drops of water.. As the bartender gives her the drink she says, “I’m on this cruise to cel-ebrate my 80th birthday and it’s today.”The bartender says, ‘Well, since it’s your birthday, I’ll buy you a drink. In fact, this one is on me.’
As the woman finishes her drink, the woman to her right says, ‘I would like to buy you a drink, too.’
The old woman says, ‘Thank you. Bartender, I want a Scotch with two drops of water.’
‘Coming up,’ says the bar-tender.
As she finishes that drink, the man to her left says, ‘I would like to buy you one, too.’
The old woman says, ‘Thank you. Bartender, I want another Scotch with two drops of water.’
‘Coming right up,’ the bartender says. As he gives her the drink, he says, ‘Ma’am, I’m dying of curiosity. Why the Scotch with only two drops of water?’ The old woman replies, ‘Sonny, when you’re my age, you’ve learned how to hold your liquor. Holding your water, however, is a whole other issue.’

ingredientsPudding:• 2 tablespoons butter• 1 teaspoon white vinegar• 1/2 cup milk• 1 cup superfine sugar• 2 eggs• 1 tablespoon apricot jelly• 1 1/3 cups cake flour• 1 teaspoon baking soda• 1 pinch saltSauce:• 1 cup heavy cream• 1/2 cup butter• 1/2 cup white sugar• 1/2 cup water, orange juice, or sherry
directions1.
Serve hot or cold.

dhs shifts Focus to deporting Criminals
It does NOT automatically give legal status.

wedding Bells
Wedding bells rang on July 1st
for Eddie and Michelle Gro-ver. A small ceremony was
performed on Honeymoon Island to cel-ebrate the love between two people who have found a second chance in happiness with each other.
The rainy skies parted and a double rainbow announced the beginning of the ceremony while a glorious sunset con-cluded the blessed event.
A lovely evening was had by all!
