    Usage

    The HDPE and Sodium Bentonite are laminated together to forma tough sheet membrane. It is easily installed and typicallyapplied on below grade civil engineering constructions suchas: sub level walls, cut and cover tunnels, under structuralslabs and subways.

    Dual Seal System

    The Dual Seal membrane is available in three different types:STANDARD, SALTWATER and LAGGING GRADE (LG). The DualSeal LG is especially designed for blindside installations or whereshotcrete is to be blown directly to the face of the membrane, whereasthe Saltwater type is used in Saline and/or brakish water conditions.Sodium Bentonite, granules, waterstops, self-swellable mastic andother accessories complete the Dual Seal system.

    Over 10 million m2 have been installed worldwide. Engineers and consequently end-users around the globepraise the DUAL SEAL SYSTEM for its simplicity, ease of use and its extraordinary waterproofing security.

    Western and Eastern European projects

    Water enters the damaged HDPE membrane. The Sodium Bentonite starts to react with the water

    and begins the sealing process. Within a short period of time, the entire damaged

    area is covered with expanded Sodium Bentoniteand forms a 100% watertight seal!
