Efficiency can be defined as: performing or functioning in the best possible manner with the least waste of materials, time or energy.

In cycling, this means the reduction or the elimination of wasted movement and energy

as the rider pedals to propel the bicycle forward. Much of the efficiency

problem in cycling is wasted movement and energy due to component flex. Our solution is to

reduce bicycle flex and boost rider efficiency without adversely affecting the ride. BOX now offers a range of products

design specifically to do this.

WHAT’S NEXTOur roots in BMX go deep—all the way back to the beginning

of the sport—but BOX is and will be much more than a BMX parts supplier. We’re cyclists who are passionate about everything bicycle related. We are already working on the next generation of BOX brand components and the list of parts includes those for mountain biking, cyclocross and road.

THANK YOU Wow! Our first year at BOX Components has been a whirlwind.

It’s been an amazing start—beyond our wildest expectations. Besides the industry’s overwhelming acceptance of our products

since we started in January 2012, we have had some amazing successs on the track in 2013.

In March, we celebrated our first professional victory by a rider using a full range of BOX components including the Delta stem, Maximus bars, Hollow hubs, Focus rims, Echelon saddle and Genius brake levers when Caroline Buchanan won the Elite Women’s race in Phoenix.

Two months later, Jelle Van Gorkon won the Papendal UCI/GSX Supercross race on a bike that was nearly fully BOX-ed out.

Then, in July, Caroline won the Elite Women’s World Championships and took the bronze in the TT, while Manon Valentino grabbed the bronze in Elite Women.

Marc Willers finished with a silver medal at Worlds in Elite Men with Barry Nobles making the main, but crashing in the treacherous frist turn.

All these riders were using a range of BOX components, including prototype Vector cranks, as were Raymon van der Biezen, Laura Smulders, Joris Daudet, Damien Godet and Quentin Cayleron.

While we’re bragging about our successes at World’s we can’t forget to mention BOX brakes were on Felicia Stancil’s and Shay Glynn’s bikes when they finished first and second in Junior Elite. And 7-year-old Dane Morales repeated as World Champion on a fully BOX-ed out bike.

Thanks to riders like these and people like you, BOX has became one of the leading brands in BMX racing.

Delta StemThe Delta stem is the first, modern, 31.8 Ø, oversize stem

designed specifically for BMX racing. When used with the new BOX Maximus chromoly handlebars (currently the only BMX bars on the market compatible with the Delta), you get the stiffest cockpit available. The added stiffness significantly improves bike handling while putting more upper body power into your pedal stroke and, therefore, forward momentum.

This isn’t just hype. Every rider we work with who has used the Delta/Maximus set-up has noticed a major improvement in stiffness and has been impressed with the more positive pull they get on the bars as they get out of the gate and while cornering and jumping.

Hollow 31.8 Stem NEWThe new 31.8 Ø Hollow stem is the lightest weight oversize

BMX stem on the market. Hollow stems are cold forged from

the highest quality 6061-T6 aluminum available. Featuring an open skeletal design and a dual mid-bolt wedge mounting system, they are lightweight yet maintain a very high level of strength and stiffness.

By removing the rear pinch bolts and moving the mounting bolts to the middle of the stem, we reduced the weight and size and eliminated a serious hazard to the rider’s knees.
