Bouquet UniBridge group was created to conduct a survey on University’s

students whether they prefer to live at residential hostel or to commute

from their homes.

Therefore, the topic of our project is “UBD’s Accommodation and

Transportation”. Our group has 9 members and this is an all girls group.

To conduct survey regarding on how many students in UBD prefer to commute everyday or to live in residential hostel.

To find out how well UBD accommodation and services are being used.

From this survey, we can find out accommodation which are preferable by most students.

Outlining some problems arise in terms of accommodation and transportation among UBD students.

Page 7: Bouquet (slideshare)

ACCOMMODATION

Lack of privacy

Lack of essential necessities and necessary

provisions.

Unlimited freedom which leads to bad activities.

Theft would occur since we have to share a

common living space.

Page 8: Bouquet (slideshare)

TRANSPORTATION

Lack of mobility and accessibility issues.

Traffic congestion leads to wasted gas, money

and time.

Budgetary constraints problem.

Weather condition dilemma.

Reasons why commute

Page 40: Bouquet (slideshare)

According to the research our group had done, most UBD students prefer to commute from their homes rather than staying at the residential hostel.

This is due to the fact that residential hostel’s facilities are of “average” condition and most students have their own car.

Page 41: Bouquet (slideshare)

Hostel facilities should be improved and up to student's taste (especially for RESCO’s hostel) so it can attract more students into staying at the hostel.

Reduce the rent (especially for The Core) because for students, the rent is considered very high.

Reduce the fee of UBD’s shuttle bus (from $2 reduce to $1 for one way).
