Dear Friends, Boundless … the Whole World Praying is a timely opportunity in the lead-up to the 2015 ‘Boundless’ Congress to continue to unite Salvationists in simultaneous 24-7 (non-stop) prayer all over the world. This wave of prayer will roll over from one territory, command or region to another, starting on Tuesday 1 July 2014 and concluding on Sunday 5 July 2015 (the last day of the Congress). During this period Salvationists will be intentionally interceding for our world, The Salvation Army and in preparation for the congress.* How will Boundless … the Whole World Praying work? Territories, commands and regions have been allocated different prayer dates as per the Boundless … the Whole World Praying calendar, available in the resource pack and from: www.salvationarmy.org/csld/boundlessprayer Your tasks are to: * Establish who (e.g. territorial or divisional headquarters, corps, outposts, social and community centres, training colleges etc) will be praying and when. A suggestion for communicating this could be via a prayer rota. * Motivate people to engage in Boundless … the Whole World Praying in their local settings, ensuring the information in the Resource Manual is distributed. * Encourage people to pray – either through the creation of prayer rooms or general prayer-focused activities (see the Resource Manual). Boundless … the Whole World Praying resources * Calendar – follow progress as prayer moves round the Army world. * Resource Manual – an explanation of what 24-7 prayer is, with ideas and suggestions to make it work. * Prayer Stations – keeping in theme with the congress, seven ideas inspired by each verse of the song ‘O Boundless Salvation’ have been created as prayer stations. These can be adapted according to your local context. * Prayer Topics – Boundless … the Whole World Praying will unite Salvationists in focused intercession for: * A deeper knowledge of God’s boundless love * Salvation, holiness and justice * Specific congress-related topics * Territories, commands and regions around the Army world * Anything else that the Lord lays on our hearts. Feedback Throughout, or at the completion of your time for Boundless … the Whole World Praying, please send feedback to the CSLD to share what is happening and to maintain momentum throughout the year. This can include testimonies, answers to prayer, articles, photos, videos etc. * Please note that the Worldwide Prayer Meeting will continue during this period.
