PROBLEMS TO BE SOLVED

This experiment has three separate problems to be solved; stability, velocity and altitude, and recovery.

Stability – getting the rockets to fly straight instead of flipping over and over

Velocity & Altitude – getting maximum velocity and altitude

Recovery – safely recovering the rocket without damage

PROJECT REQUIREMENTS

The class will be broken into three teams. Each team will contain three divisions. The three divisions of the team will work together to generate a final rocket design that incorporates each division’s specialty.

Each team will present their rocket to the other two teams in a final competition.

The rockets will be judged in three areas: 1) Stability, 2) Velocity, 3) Ease of Recovery

TEAM ORGANIZATION

Assign roles to each team member: Timer, Recorder, Rocket PR (pump and run), and Altitude Tracker.
