The Aerojet is a true aeroponic system. Microjets spray the roots of the plants, delivering high levels of oxygen to the roots which promotes aggressive growth rates. Aeroponics is preferred by advanced growers as the method of choice for feed delivery. The Aerojet is powered by a high output pump providing a super-oxygenated environment to the root system. The timer can be set to mist continually or in micro-bursts of one minute on, and four minutes off. It is ideal for hobbyists as well as research and education because the system’s design allows easy monitoring of the roots.

How it Works:The Power Cloner’s high output pump and microjet sprayers deliver a highly oxygenated spray of water and rooting hormones to the stem of the cutting. Add cloning solution to water, place cutting in the root guard, neoprene collar and place in the 2” pot. Operate the machine for 24 hour periods until roots appear (3-10 days). Transplant your new clone into any grow substrate. Botanicare also suggests using AquaShield®, with the Clone Machine reservoir. The Clone Machine works best with 16-18 hours of fluorescent light for cuttings. Misting leaves once or twice daily is also helpful or use an optional Humidome to control humidity.

How it Works:Econojet systems use Botanicare trays and reservoirs with some of the best ebb and flow fittings and submersible pumps available. The ebb and flow fittings are completely modular, allowing the grower to adjust the level of water that floods the tray during feeding. These high quality components provide years of trouble free operation. Our trays and reservoirs are made with durable ABS plastic with built in U.V. inhibitors that minimize fading and yellowing from intense grow lights. All trays are 7” deep with drainage channels. The reservoirs have built-in porthole covers that make it easy to monitor and refill the nutrient solution. Q: Can I use hydrogen peroxide with Pure Blend Pro or Liquid Karma?A: No. Hydrogen peroxide will kill off the beneficial micro organisms present in Pure Blend Pro and Liquid Karma. Q: How is Triflex different from other 3 part formulas?A: Triflex is unique because it contains a vast array of organic additives that are not present in other custom formulas. Triflex is formulated with vitamins, amino acids, liquid compost, seaweed, humic acid, fulvic acid, and tissue culture ingredients.

Q: What does Clearex do?A: Using Clearex will pull away unwanted salts surrounding your root system and dissolve salts locked up in your grow medium. Clearex has a balance of simple sugars and carbohydrates that will not disturb the osmotic pressure of root hairs protecting against potential harmful pathogens.

Q: When should I use Hydroplex?A: Hydroplex should be used throughout the fruiting/flowering stage.

Q: Is it safe to use with other bloom stimulants?A: Bloom stimulants should never be used together because the high PK values of 2 products will cause burns and lockouts in the plants However, multiple bloom stimulants may be used if trying to achieve development using these products individually at different stages of flower development.

Q: Why should I use Pure Blend Pro Soil?A: If you are growing in soil or clay, colloidal particles bind up phosphorous and the microbes in the soil compete for phosphorus. This formula has double the phosphorus compared to our regular hydro-organic formula. You can also use Pure Blend Pro Soil as a ripening formula in hydro-organics during the last few weeks of flowering.

Q: What is so unique about your coir fiber?A: Our coir fiber has very low salt content, is aged a minimum of 18 months and has finished its decomposition stage. It has an extremely high air content, has extra long fibers and is double sifted to reduce dust. Cocogro is also buffered to balance out the high potassium naturally present in coir.

Q: How often should I change my reservoir water?A: You should change your reservoir water every one to two weeks.

Q: Can I leave an aeroponics system running all the time or should I use a cycle timer?A: Cyclical and continuous feeding are both ideal for aeroponic growing. If you decide to run on a cycle timer, 1 minute on 4 minutes off is ideal.

Q: What is the difference between Pure Blend Original and Pure Blend Pro?A: Pure Blend Original is an organic compost solution to be used as a supplement with standard plant foods. Frequently Asked QuestionsQ: What is the difference between Blast Off and Liquid Karma?A: Liquid Karma contains all of the ingredients in Blast Off plus organic additives such as liquid compost, seaweed, humic acid and fulvic acid.

Q: Which Botanicare products should be used for foliar feeding?A: Use any of the following products at 1/4 strength for foliar feeding: Huvega, Seaplex, Cal-Mag, Liquid Karma, Blast Off, AquaShield, Pure Blend, or Pure Blend Pro.

Q: When should I use Cal-Mag?A: Cal-Mag can be from the vegetative stage through the fruiting and flowering stages.A: Always when using R.O. water.

Q: Why is Cal-Mag Plus Used?A: Cal-Mag Plus was developed to correct the most common deficiencies that occur when growing in hydroponics, soil, or coconut coir fiber. Cal-Mag Plus corrects deficiencies of calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc. The benefit of using Cal-Mag Plus is to ensure that these deficiencies do not develop and that common problems such as blossom end rot, interveinal chlorosis, and tip burn. Growers using reverse osmosis water often need Cal-Mag Plus to counter the hardness that is stripped from the municipal source used.

Q: Why is do I see flakes floating in my water when I use CNS17?A: CNS17 is a very complete synthetic line made with chelated secondary and micronutrients. The formula will flake if the water temperature is below 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Always mix CNS17 with room temperature water between 68-75 degrees.

Q: Is it safe to pre-mix solutions if I am not going to use them right away?A: It is not recommended to leave nutrients together if they are not going to be used. If a solution with multiple nutrients is just being stored, precipitation and nutrient bonding will occur. The effectiveness of the solution will be compromised and deficiencies may occur. It is best to use solutions within 24 hours.

Q: What does Sweet Do?A: Plants create carbohydrates through the process of photosynthesis. These carbohydrates act as fuel for the plant to perform metabolic functions like fruit and flower development. Growers want to rapidly decrease production time while increasing yields by the providing their plants with high octane nutrients, lighting, and/or by methods of CO2 injection. This will increase a plants metabolic rate. The carbohydrates created naturally by the plant may not be enough for the speedy metabolism of the plant under these conditions and the results will be less than optimal.

Sweet is a vitamin fortified carbo-loading product that acts as an energy reserve for your plants during the vegetative cycle and flowering stages. Start using Sweet in early vegetative cycle to help plants from legging out or becoming soft stemmed if exposed to excess nitrogen. The carbo-loaded root system, aids the transition into flowering helping keep leaves from yellowing, and will provide extra fuel for your plants to carryout fruit and flower development. Sweet assures that you have maximum energy potential keeping your plant from exhausting under accelerated growth conditions.

Q: Why should I use Sweet instead of molasses?A: Sweet is fortified with extra minerals. Flavored Sweet formulas are infused with esters to enhance aromas. Sweet is free unwanted bacteria which is desirable in sterile hydroponics operations. Sweet’s 0-0-0 N-P-K value does not raise ppm. Sweet is formulated to dissolve much more easily when used in hydroponics.
