GeneralTips

Tip1-FinalFantasyIIIisanRPG,likeAdventureQuest(0.o).RPGstandsforRolePlayingGame.Itiscalledthis,becauseonepersonattacks,thentheotherattacks.IfyouAFKfor60daysandcomeback,theenemyyouarebattlingagainstwillstillnotattackyou.Yourlevels,HP/MP,armour,attack,defence,etc.areallimportant.Iftheyarelow,thenyoumayhavetroubledefeatingcertainenemiesorevenbosses.

Tip2-Jobsarealsoimportant.Ifyouarehavingtroublebeatingaveryhardboss,trychangingjobs.Theyareusuallytheanswertocertainobstaclesyoucan'tpass.

Tip3-Differentjobsusedifferenttypesofequipment.Forexample,aKnightmayuseswords,butaDragoonusesspears,lancesandpolearms.Soifyouarethinkingaboutchangingjobs,don'tsellyourstuff!Thisappliestoarmouras

well.(Soyougetmoney).

Tip4-Justafteryouhaveswitchedtoadifferentjob,youwillbeunderatimecalledtheJobTransitionPhase.Duringthistime,yourstrength,agility,vitality,intellectandmindwillbeyellow,andslightlylowered.Thisisseenonthemenu,andthereisanarrownexttothecharacter.Also,ifyouareswitchingfromajobthatdoesnotusemagictoajobthatdoes,becarefulbecauseyourmpwillremainat0soyoucannotusemagic!Justgotoanearbyinnorwellspringandhealup.

Tip5-Inabattle,yourenemymayusecurseslikeToadorMini.Youmustbepreparedtocuretheseailmentsoryouwon'tbedoingverywellinbattle.

Tip6-Havingahealerinyourpartyisatremendoushelpinabattle,orevenontheworldmap.Theyareusuallymorehelpthanpotions,sothatmakesthemveryvaluable.

TrainingTips

Tip1-Itisalwaysbesttrainingindungeonsthanontheworldmapatmosttimes,simplybecausetheygivemoreexp,andtheyspawnfaster.However,youmayhaveaccesstomorethanonedungeonatoncesochoosetheoneyoulike!:D.

Tip2-Whentrainingorevendefeatingenemies,donotuseitemsonthem,unlessyoureallywanttogetridofthem.WHYNOT?Becauseyouwillnotbewastingitifyouuseitonaboss.Usingitonmonstersisjustawaste.

Tip3-Itisbesttotraininadungeonwithmonstersthatyoucankillin1-2rounds.Anythingmorethanthatisnotthequickestwaytolevel.

Tip4-Lookoutforweaknesses.Someenemieshaveweaknessessuchasfireorlightning.Usingfireorlightningonthesemonsterscanbeextremelyeffectiveobviously,causetheyareweaktofireandlightning(obviously).

Tip1-Mostbossesarefoundattheveryendofdungeons)whichdoesn'tmakesense)sodon'twasteallyourmpifyouhavemages.Also,ifyouwant,youcanfleefromalltheenemiesthatyoumeet.Thatway,youdon'twasteanympatall!:).Butthenthat'snotalwaysgoodcauseyouwon'tlevelupanymore:(

Tip2-Alwaysfullyhealyourpartybeforestartingabattle.Ifyourpartyisonhalf-healthandthebossgetsthefirststrike,it'sallover.

Tips3-Aslistedabove,somebosseshaveweaknesses!Tofindthisout,youneedeitheraScholarusingStudy,orawhitemageusingLibra.

Tip4-Usingitemsisveryeffectivetoo.Ifyouhaveaverypowerfulone,thenitwilldealtonsofdamage(againobvious).

Tip5-Itisnecessarytohealaftereveryroundinabattle,becauseyourenemymighttakethefirsthitinthenextround.Unlessyourpartyisalreadyfullyhealed.

Tip6-Somebossesmayhavenoexistingweaknesses,butmaybeweaktophysical

attacksormagicattacks(whichisstillaweaknessdon'tforget).

Tip7-Ifyoucannotdefeatacertainboss,tryandgainacoupleoflevels.Thiswillgiveyouatleastanextra100hptoyourcharacters,dependingonthevitality.Yourstatuseswillalsoincrease(strength,agility,etc.).

Tip8-Mostbossesattack2timesperround,butsomeattack3becausetheyarereallyfast!(Hahagetit)?Also,somebossescanuseaspecialattack,andtheyusuallyuseitwhenthebattlelastsmorethan3rounds.Ifyouwanttoavoidtheseattacks,justtryandkillitassoonaspossible.Also,mostbossescanusemagic.Althoughtheycanattack2or3timesperround,theycanonlyusemagiconce.Therestoftheirattacksarephysicalattacks.

Tip9-Ifyouhaveamageinyourparty,avoidusingspellslikeconfuse,raze,warp,andetc.becausetheydonotworkonbosses(duh!).Sticktotheoffensiveandthedefensiveones,nottheonesthatinflictailments.

Tip10-Afterabossbattle,yourpartywillbefullyhealed.Sincemostbossesarefoundattheendofdungeons,itisrecommendedthatyoubuyOttershrooms,orusethespell:Teleport(whitemagic).Ifyouhaveneither,thenitisstillgreattobacktracktotheentranceofthedungeonbecauseyougetmoreexplikethis,andyourpartyisfullyhealedanyway.

Tip11-Afteryoudefeatabossnexttoacrystal,newjobsareunlocked,andyourkickingfatasslvlgoesupbyone.

Tip1-Assaidmanytimesalready,mostbossesarefoundattheendofdungeons.Thereareenemiesinsidethedungeons,ofcourse.Tohaveaneasytimefightingthesebosses,makesurethatyoucankilltheenemiesinsidethedungeoninonround(withtheexceptionofLandTurtle,GarudaandTheCloudofDarkness).Otherwise,youwillfindithardertodefeattheboss.

Tip2-Alwaysexplorethedungeonswell,fortheycontainmanyusefultreasures.Itemsfoundindungeonsalwayshelpyoutodefeatthebossattheend.(Usually).

Tip3-Saveoften!Beforeyouenteradungeonorfightinabattle,alwaysremembertosave,becauseyoumaynevercomeout!Inthatcase,youwillhavetodoallthatcrapagain.

Tip4-Alwaysremembertohealaftereverybattle,unlessyourpartyisalreadyonfullhealthornearfullhealth(geezI'msureualreadyknowthisstuffbutanyway)otherwiseyoucoulddieaftermeetingstrongmonsters.

MedusacanalsoinflictSilence,whichmakestheinflictedunabletousemagic.Medusawillsometimesbutrarelytryandturnyourpartytostone,butusuallyitisamiss.MakesurethatyoustockupwithEchoHerbsandGoldNeedles!Lastly,MedusamayuseStare,whichisareallyannoyingailmentthatyouwillgetpissedoffat.Whatdoesitdo?Itconfusesoneofyourcharactersinyourparty.Afterthis,youcannotcontrolhim/herandhe/shewilleitherattackhimself/herselforanotherpartymember.Youcannotgetridofthisthingunlessafter3roundsorgettinghit.

AntarcticWindsareeffectiveonthisbossifyougotthem,andhealwithyourwhitemageeveryround.Otherwise,thisbossshouldbenoproblematall.

Ofcourse,useBlizzarawithyourblackmageorredmage.IfyouhaveproperlyexploredtheMoltenCave,thenyoushouldhavetheFreezingBlade,whichisalsogoodtouseonthisboss.

Salamanderwillusehisnormalattacks,andbequiteannoyingsometimes,becauseheseemstogoforthesamecharacterperround,whichmightkillthem.HewillalsouseaFireBreathattack,whichwilldamageyourentireparty,withagoodamountofHP.

Strategy-Thisbattlemaybehard,butitwon'tbeifyouknowwhattodo.Firstly,HeincanchangehisweaknessesbyusingBarrierShift.Forexample,firsthisweaknessisfire.HeusesBarrierShiftandTa-da!Hisweaknesshaschangedtosomethingelse.Wellhowdoyoufindoutwhatweaknessheiscurrentlysufferingfrom?Youhavejustunlockednewjobs,andaScholaristhejobthatfindsitout,byusingStudy.Thereisalsoanotherway;WhiteMagescanfindthisouttoobyusingLibra(level4whitemagicfoundatthemagicshopinGyshal).

DonotuseaScholar-theyareuseless.AGeomancerisstillextremelygood,andShadowflarestillworks.Theonlyannoyingthingisthatitmightuse

Whirlpoolandthatdoesnothingatall.ABlackMageisalsoverygood,especiallyifyouareusingBlizzaga,whichisfoundsomewhereinthecave.AWhiteMageisalwaysagoodidea.

However,KrakenmaycastBlizzarahimself.HecanalsocastBlind,whichmakesyourphysicalstrikersscrewed.Ifyougointothisbattleatlevel25,youwillhaveanimmenselyeasytimelikeIdid.Ikilledthisbossonthesecondround,firstturn.

Anyway,Geomancersareanexception.Youalsohavenewjobs,soDragoonsandDarkKnightsareanexcellentchoice.WhiteMagetoo,ofcourse!Hewillmostlypunchyou,whichshouldn'tcauseyoutoomuchtrouble.Andhorribly,HEgetstousemagic.

HewilltryandcastBlindandSilence,buthe'snotverygoodatit.HewillalsocastProtectonhimself,butthatdoesn'tdomucheffect.Otherthanthis,heishardlyathreat,soyoushouldbeathimquiteeasily,andunlockyourship=D.

Lightningoverandoveragaineveryround,andLightningisahorribleattackthatdealsheapsofdamagetoyourENTIREparty.Donotunderestimatethisboss.Manypeoplefacethisbossatlevel28orso,andsadly,theylose.Note:ThisisIFyouhaveonedragoononly.IfyouhaveNOdragoons,then,nochanceatlvl30.Ifyouhavetwo,theneasy.Threeisabittoomuch,soyeah.

DonotuseanymorethanONEphysicalattacker,causetheyaredisgracefulagainstthisuglybird.ApartfromDragoons,whichisthebestjobtouseagainstthisboss.ItisgoodtouseMOREthanoneDragoon,becauseintheDragonSpireyouwillfindthesameequipmenttwice(twoDragonMailsforexample).Evokersarealsogood,oranyotherjobthatiscapableofdealingmorethan2000damageeachturn.GeomancersandBlackMageswithBlizzagaisalsoagoodchoice.IfyouareusinganEvoker,onlysummonHeatraandHyper;

therestareuseless.Hyperdeals2000+damageallthetime,whileHeatraisthesame,butsometimeshewillHEALyourentirepartywithCuraja(about2800hprestoredtotheentireparty)!Also,makesureyourpartyisonthehighestmagicdefenceaspossible,becauseiftheyarenot,thentheywillnotsurvivethelightningattacks,whichheuses50%ofthetime!
