• Join the EU– Should permeate all actions and policies

• UNDP added value, Gender, HR, environment mainstreaming and MDG advocacy.

– Private Sector (key actors, possible future champions, industries, exports)

– Government (s) (stakeholders, what structures)

– Donors (existing programmes, interests, coordination issues)

– Media, NGO, Unions, Academia etc…

3. Present the “Unleashing Entrepreneurship” report – Translation– Invite the stakeholders– Discuss, how can UNDP

support PS development, PPP’s etc.

– CSR– Introduce the idea of a Public-

Private Forum (Meeting point for public-private sector, possibilities to support the PS)

– Steps to switch from informal to formal economy (What has been done in the region by UNDP other donors?)

4. The Global compact could be launched in a parallel process, or when champions have been identified from the first conference, as a part of the process.

Before Mission by PRSP• Map key stakeholders, links, interests and relationships:

– Major companies (intl., domestic), business associations, chamber of commerce

– Governance, what ministries would be relevant, relevant laws– Donors, who, what is being done, interests of co-operation– NGO’s/civil society, media Unions, academia interested in supporting?– ILO?– Experiences from the region…– Etc.

• What is UNDP’s interest in this, what do we want to achieve? Set up PPP commission in UNDP BiH?

• Possible to have several tracks, 1, csr/global compact, 2. resource mob., 3. PPP for economic development (berries, etc)?
