As part of the TT- NAM team, we strive to provide TT-NAM leadership with current and accurate information on the business development of Sales Region SA5 (US, Canada) with its consolidated Business Unit sections as well as the Business Unit AC (US-based) in particular. Helen Bruford is the North American Finance Manager. She is responsible for managing the Financial Department. Helen comes to Bosch with 15 years of experience. She previously worked in the Packaging Division in Raleigh NC and Derby UK. Kelly Troiano is the Accounting Controller. She has worked for Bosch and its acquired company for 22 years. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of New Hampshire. Kelly Short is the Accounts Receivable Associate. She is responsible for processing lockbox checks, ACH payments and researching debit memos. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and an Associate’s degree in Accounting. Jenna Stevens is the Billing Associate. She is responsible for monitoring billing, posting of credits/ debits and bank reconciliation. She has worked with Bosch for over 8 years. As part of the worldwide Bosch and TT Controlling Network we provide our internal customers with transparent information on the commercial situation of our business. Spotlight - Ldy Finance (continued)

The Associate Survey 2013 (AS13) period for TT ran from September 4th – September 27th. Thank you to all associates for providing feedback on our organization. Survey results will be returned to the site around the end of October. Look for your department manager to provide feedback on the results shortly thereafter.

Alicja Stec is a Senior Accountant. She is responsible for general ledger accounting, recording fixed assets, tax reporting and internal/external audit coordination. She has worked for Bosch since 2004. Alicja is also fluent in Polish.

Melissa R. Hamel is a Customer Account Specialist. She is responsible for vendor account changes and updates. She has worked for Bosch for 7 years.

Rita Melanson is an Accounts Payable Supervisor. She is responsible for overseeing accounts payables, posting container invoices, processing electric payments and assisting with other A/P duties. In addition she is responsible for various general ledger postings as well as assisting in month end close. She has an Associate’s Degree in Accounting. Rita has worked in the finance field for almost 20 years and 9 of those years are with Bosch.

Marie J. Pickens is the Accounts Payable Coordinator. She is responsible for handling all payments and payment inquiries to third party and Bosch affiliated vendors. She has an Associates of Applied Science Degee. Marie has 8 years of Accounting experience and 15 years with Bosch.

Pam Roy is the Credit and Account Specialist. She is responsible for establishing and maintaining credit limits, reviewing accounts for credit worthiness of credit held orders for manual release and monthly accounts receivable reporting. She is a graduate of New England College. Prior to working at Bosch, she worked in Accounts Receivable and Credit Departments at Timberland for 20 years.

Darcy Remillard is the Accounts Receivable Retail Specialist. She manages the accounts receivable aspects of Bosch Thermotechnology’s retail accounts.

Kevin Schwartz is the Inventory Controller. He is responsible for daily cycle counts, inventory adjustments, scrapping, obsolescence reporting, and is involved with disposition of old or slow moving product. He has been with Bosch about 12 years in various management positions in Customer Service, After-Sales and Logistics.

Product Launch - Greenstar

Bosch Thermotechnology expands its gas-fired condensing Greenstar boiler line for residential space heating and domestic hot water production. The versatile Greenstar product family features two new models – the Greenstar Space Heating 79 and the Greenstar Combi 131 for heating and domestic hot water. New models are introduced in autumn of 2013 and feature a new concentric venting system as well as a twin-pipe polypropylene venting system from Bosch.

Marketing Campaign - Bosch Green Living Seminars

This Fall, Bosch is presenting seminars aimed at consumers in the greater Atlanta area who want to learn about saving money and living a greener lifestyle in their community. On September 7th a seminar entitled “Healthy House, Healthy Living“ was presented at the Bosch Experience Center in the Serenbe community near Atlanta, Georgia. A prize voucher worth up to $1000 toward the purchase of a Bosch appliance, power tool or heating and cooling product was presented to Ms. Shirleye King.

Biometric ScreeningsIt’s that time of the year again for the Bosch Wellness Event! Associates should plan on scheduling their free biometric screenings at their location. Additional incentives will be provided for those who complete the health screening and health survey.

Walk This Way 2013Congratulations to all of the associates who participated in the Wellness Walk Initiative. Between both locations we had over 48 participants. Listed below are all of the walkers who had over 1 million steps. Way to Go!

The Community Involvement Team in Fort Lauderdale organized its second Back to School Drive to support Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Fort Lauderdale. Thanks to all associates we were able to collect enough supplies to generously fill 10 backpacks (above).

On September 24 the Bosch Community Fund representative RBNA/GOV Eva Haley will be in Fort Lauderdale to assist with our partnership to provide money to support STEM (Science, Technology, Education & Mathematics) education and environmental sustainability. We will have several visitors onsite from local universities, colleges and public schools to hear a presentation provided by Eva Haley on Bosch Community funding.
