Welcome to Bosaland

Situated on the west coast of the island of Sardinia, a

short distance from the centre of the medieval town of Bosa.We offer interesting courses and activities from our olive grove which has

350 olive trees that are reputed to have been planted

by the Spanish over 500 years ago.

Olive - Olea europaea

For the last 5 years our olive grove has been slowly brought back into production - which involves clearing and pruning the trees - and much of the work has been done by

volunteers. Each year, starting at the end of

October, we hand pick the olives to produce high quality,

extra virgin olive oil.

Donkey - Equus africanus asinus

Our small herd of six Sardinian donkeys are used to help during the olive harvest and like to be taken for walks up the Bosa valley. They also carry food and camping equipment for longer excursions and trekking in the local area.
