POST CURINGIf the surface is to be paved with either Bitumen or concrete, a surface drying of 3-4 days is advisableIf surface is not to be sealed, i.e. rural roads (unpaved) is to be made, some gravel fines are to be added to the surface to aid vehicles gain traction in wet conditions.

B O R O Y M E R DZ-1X(Recommendation of tests for earthen roads to be conducted after DZ-1X application):Step 1.Before road construction: A. Average plasticity index of soil: helps determine moisture content needed to attain maximum dry density (MDD).B.Optimal moisture content(OMC) to reach MDD.C.Laboratory MDD of soil.D.Laboratory CBR.E.If required: enzyme modified MDD of soil and PI.

Step 2.At time of construction: F. Average moisture of soil on site, needed to offset the quantity of water that will need to reach OMC.G.Field soil density of soil helps determine quantity soil required to finish compacted road.

Step 3.Post construction: H. Approximately 24 hours later MDD analysis by sand replacement method or BS Core Cutter Method. I. CBR of soil after 7 days, field analysis by Dynamic Cone Penetration, lab analysis of undisturbed sample (as per IS-2720). J. CBR of soil after 30 days, field analysis by Dynamic Cone Penetration, lab analysis of undisturbed sample (as per IS-2720).

Note: Light traffic is to be allowed after 3 hours of compaction, heavy (loaded) vehicles to be allowed after 48 hours.If there is a moisture problem, allow to evaporate then allow vehicles.

Application Notes:- Day 1:Plan project with supervisory personnel.Assemble all required Equipment.Make equipment maintenance checks.Verify fuel supply.Verify and make arrangements for water and water supply.Verify BOROYMER DZ-1X supply.Meet with operator personnel and discuss procedure.If new soil is required, it should be brought in and put in place.Road barriers should be assembled and checked.Traffic diversion plan should be finalized.Traffic control personnel should be instructed according to the work plan.Instructions should be given in case of rain.Security for equipment should be arranged.Contingency plans should be made in case of equipment break down or problems.

Application Notes:- Day 2:Mix BOROYMER DZ-1X with water in water truckBreak up soil with rippers on grader.Remove or crush large BOROYMER DZ-1X in Water.Cut shoulders with grader on each side of road first.Mix soil with grader and (add aggregate if necessary).Moisten soil with water truck spray bar.Mix soil with grader blade from each side to the other.Repeat #5 #6 all day. Wind row with grader blade on each side of road.Let wind row aerate over night.

Application Notes:- Day 3:Moisten wind row soil with water truck spray bar.Moisten soil in front of grader.Grader blade 2 lifts/layer from wind row.Sheeps foot compactor follow grader blade.Drum Compactor with vibrator on follows Sheeps foot compactor.Repeat #1 through #4 for 3/4 of expected depth or wind row.Continue to moisten wind row.Continue to use grader to blade 2 lifts.Continue to use Drum compactor with vibrator off.Repeat #6 - #8 for last 1/4 of expected depth.Moisten surface in front of Pneumatic roller.Use Pneumatic compaction for smoothing final finish.

Allow to set for 3 5 Days with no traffic use. Traffic use too soon will cause rutting.
