Whitetail Disposal is proud to be the Borough of Emmaus residential recycling and waste services partner. In order to insure proper pickup, we do ask a few things from you...

All recyclables and refuse must be placed at the curb the night before your collection day. We are not permitted to collect from areas of your property other than curbside. Anything not at the curb will not be collected.

Collection Days There are a few things that changed with our refuse and recycling contract. Refuse and recycling will continue to be collected one time per week, however, collection will be spread out over three days. So depending on where you live your refuse and recycling will be picked up on either Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. Please make sure all refuse and recycling is out by midnight the night before your pick-up day.The basics to keep in mind are:• If you live south of Main Street and Chestnut Streets, your collection day is Wednesday. (Red Route)• If you live on the North Side (odd house numbers), youlive North of Harrison, or you live in the Stryer Section, your collection day is Thursday. (Blue Route)• If you live between Chestnut Street and the Southside of Harrison (even house numbers), from State Roadto Cedar Crest Blvd, your collection day is Friday. (GreenRoute)

Please call Customer Service at 610-754-0103 to report a missed collection or to schedule bulk pickup (no later than noon the day before scheduled pickup day).

What you may put out and how to put it outWe collect standard household refuse such as, food waste, cloth, Styrofoam, shredded paper, mirrors, plastic bags, animal waste, and most other non-recyclable items. Hazardous WasteNew to the Borough of Emmaus, this long awaited program is now available to you. Dates and locations will be announced closer to the event. One of the biggest complaints and concerns that we have received over the years is that our residents have no place to go with different hazardous waste materials. NOW YOU DO. We will most likely hold one to two events in 2019 and see what the demand from the community is moving forward. We have not scheduled the dates for these events yet, however, we will have more details in the Sprint Newsletter and on the borough’s website.

Acceptable items for drop off include: Automotive fluids (oil, antifreeze, etc.), garden chemicals, paint products, household chemicals, universal material, and tires.Unacceptable items for drop off include: Ammunitions, explosives, asbestos, unlabeled materials, or leaking containers.
