FoundationBuilding,thetallesttowerinSabahand

oneofthefewhangingstructuresintheworldandthe

SabahStateMuseumwhereexhibitsreectthediversity

ofSabah’scultureandtraceearlytradelinkswiththe

neighbouringcountries.AfteradmiringtheSabahState

Mosque,amasterpieceofarchitecturewithitsdove-grey

wallsandglitteringmajesticdomes,weheadtoTanjung Aru,famousforits2km-longsandybeach.Returnto

yourhotelforsomefreetimethenheadouttoafunlocal

ThismorningweheadtotheWorldHeritage-listed

KinabaluNationalPark,hometoMountKinabalu,

Malaysia’shighestpeak.Thesummitclimbissuretobe

ahighlightofyourtrip,despitebeingsteepinparts.You

willcarryonlyanovernightbagbutmaywishtohirea

portertoassistyou.KinabaluNationalParkisanature-

lover’sdreamandasyouwalk,yourmountainguidewill

pointoutsomeof1,000speciesoforchids,aswellas

rhododendronsandthecarnivorouspitcherplants.The

walkwilltake4-6hoursandwe’llstoptoenjoyapacked

lunchenroute.TonightwestayinLabanRatainbasic

dormitoryaccommodation,andenjoyasimplemealand

anearlynight,readyforthenalclimbthenextday.

Day 4, Tuesday 2nd OctoberMount Kinabalu

Wewakeearly,ataround2.30am,andeatalightsupperbeforestartingtheclimbtotheMountKinabalusummit.

Theclimbischallenginginparts,butwhenyouarrive

atthetopintimetoseethesunriseoverthejunglesof

BorneoandtheSouthChinaSea,itwillallbeworthit.

Wespendsometimecatchingourbreathandenjoying

that‘topoftheworld’feelingbeforereturningtoLaban

Rataforbreakfast,thenbacktoourstartingpoint.From

hereweheadtonearbyMountKinabaluHeritageHotel,

wherewestayovernight.

Day 5, Wednesday 3rd OctoberSukau River Lodge

TodayweheadtotheSandakanregionandSukauRiver

Lodge,stoppingattheGomantongCavesenroute.The

cavesarehometooveramillionbats,andtheediblebird’s

nestthatispopularthroughoutAsia.Theareasurrounding

thecaveisanaturereserve,whichishometoabundant

birdlifeincludingcrestedserpenteagles,kingshers,Asian

fairybluebirdsandleafbirds–aswellaswildorangutans.

Wecontinueon,followingthecourseoftheKinabatangan

River,hometopossiblythegreatestconcentrationofwildlifeinBorneo.AftercheckinginatSukauRiverLodge,

takeanafternoonrivercruiseinsearchofwildlifesuch

asmacaques,redandsilverleafmonkeys,crocodiles,

civetcats,snakes,wildboar,orangutansandproboscis

monkeys,foundonlyinBorneo.

Day 6, Thursday 4th OctoberOxbow Lakes, nature trail and river cruise

EnjoyanearlymorningboattriptotheOxbowLakes,achancetospotmorewildlife.Expecttoseebirdsofall

shapesandforms,includingegrets,kingshers,oriental

darters,bee-eatersandhornbills.Freshwatersharein

abundanceandyoumayalsoseeottersandsometimes

evenwildelephants.Embarkonatrekthroughthe

rainforest,beforereturningtothelodgeforlunch.This

afternoonyoumaychoosetoputyourfeetupandrelax

ortakeanotherafternoonrivercruise–it’suptoyou.

Day 7, Friday 5th OctoberSepilok Orangutan Centre, Kota Kinabalu

Afterbreakfast,weleaveSukauRiverLodgeanddrive

tothefamousSepilokOrangutanRehabilitationCentre.

Foundedin1964,thecentrehelpscaptiveorangutans

learntoclimbandfendforthemselvesinthewildwith

thehopethatonedaytheymayreturntotheforest.You

willhavethechancetoviewthesebeautifulcreatures

up-closeastheyreturntofeed.Afterlunch,youtransfer

toSandakanAirportforyourighttoKotaKinabalu.

Mulu National Park, Royal Mulu Resort

ThismorningweytoSarawakandMuluNationalPark.

Coveringastaggering544km2ofvirginrainforestby

fast-owingrivers,itisthelargestparkintheregionand

oneofthemostspectacularinallofAsia.Yourexpert

jungleguidewillbeonhandtohelpyouappreciatethe

incrediblebiodiversityoftherainforesthere,introducing

youtosomeofthe8,000speciesofoweringplants,

200mammals,100butteryspeciesandatleast450

differentkindsofbirds,includingthehornbillwithits

distinctivecurlybeak.Afterlunchweseetherainforest

fromaboveonacanopyskywalk,thenhikethrough

thepeatswampforestona3kmplankwalktoDeer

Cave,oneofanumberofcavesthatmakeuponeof

theworld’slargestlimestonecavesystems.Wewillalso

visitnearbyLangCave,whichissmallerbutfeatures

impressiverockformations.Atdusk,watchasmillionsof

batsemergefromthecavesfortheirnightlyfeed–atruly

descendingtoCamp5.Alternativelyyoumaychooseto

trekalongtheHeadhunter’sTrailtoMelinauGorge,or

willwelcomeyouandtakeyouforatourofhishome.

NSPIRED ADVENTURES BOOKING CONDITIONShis Inspired Adventure is operated by Flight Centre Ltd.

lease read carefully the terms in the conditions of contract in completing and submitting the Booking Form,

ou agree to be bound by these conditions which constitute the agreement between Inspired Adventures, Flight

entre Ltd (Flight Centre) and you. The conditions apply to the exclusion of any other terms or conditions unless

hey are set out in the Booking Form, or are otherwise agreed to in writing by the parties. Previous dealing with

he parties will not vary these conditions. No purported variation of these conditions will be effective unless in

writing and signed by a person so authorised by Inspired Adventures and Flight Centre.

. How to Book: To participate in this Inspired Adventure, you must pay a non-reundable registration ee o AUD$700ncluding GST payable to Inspired Adventures. Six weeks later you must pay a non-reundable travel deposit o AUD$400ncluding GST which must be made payable to Flight Centre. I you register within 4 months o the departure date you mustay the travel deposit o AUD$400 immediately upon registration.

. Payments and Fundraising: Eligibility to take part in this Challenge is contingent upon you raising the minimumundraising Target. Flight Centre will not accept receipt o your balance payment until there is evidence that yourundraising Deposit o AUD$1,000 has been met 20 weeks prior to your departure. The balance o your Fundraisingayments must be made no later than 4 weeks prior to your departure. Travel costs are based on arrangements departingrom the published departure city/cities in Australia and exclude travel insurance & visa ees. Flight Centre may be ableo arrange travel rom other cities in Australia, a surcharge will apply. Registered participants will be required to coverdditional travel or accommodation costs required as a result o departing rom an alternative destination. Failure to lodgehe undraising target on or beore the required date will render you ineligible to depart on the Challenge and you will oreitn ull the AUD$700 registration ee paid to Inspired Adventures, the AUD$400 travel cost deposit paid to Flight Centre, andour place on the adventure. All monies raised in the name o the charity must be orwarded immediately to the charity long with supporting documents as outlined in the ‘Conditions o Fundraising’. Inspired Adventures, Flight Centre, and theharity reserve the right to reuse your Application to Register. Their decision is nal and binding. Should your Applicatione reused your ull registration ee will be reunded to you. Your registration or the Challenge will take eect once youregistration unds have cleared. Places are limited on the Challenge and are allocated on a rst come rst ser ved basis.

. Cancellations by You: I you wish to cancel your tour, you must notiy Inspired Adventures and Flight Centre in writingnd the ollowing charges will apply: You will automatically oreit your registration ee (AUD$700), your travel cost depositAUD$400) paid to Flight Centre, other ees may apply as per the Flight Centre booking conditions.

We reserve the right to cancel the Challenge or to oer you alternatives. Ihe Challenge is cancelled and any alternatives oered are not suitable, you shall be reunded any monies paid to Inspireddventures. You may be entitled to ull or partial reund on monies paid to Flight Centre dependant on booking conditions.

n the event that your chosen trip is cancelled and you are given the option o transerring to a trip the ollowing year, theseranserred trips must be taken within 12 months or your position on the Challenge will be oreited.

. Disclaimer: You accept that:

Flight Centre will not be liable for any breach of any law by any person with whom you travel on the tour; and

you may not rely on any representations concerning the tour made by Flight Centre which are not contained in theseconditions.

. Release and Waiver of Liability: In consideration o Inspired Adventures and the Charity accepting your bookingpplication and in consideration o you being permitted by Inspired Adventures and the Charity to join the tour:

you waive any and all claims I may now or in the future have against Inspired Adventures and the Charity, their ofcers,employees, agents or representatives (“their sta”) and release rom all liability and agree not to sue Inspired Adventuresor its sta or any personal injury, death, property damage or loss sustained by me as a result o my participation in theChallenge. You acknowledge that the Challenge involves an adventure trip and accept all the inherent risks associatedwith such a trip and the possibility o personal injury, death or property damage or loss resulting there rom.

o the extent permitted by law, section 74 o the Trade Practices Act 1974 does not apply to this contract.

. Privacy: In order to be able to supply a service to you Inspired Adventures will need to collect certain inormation romou, some o which may be o a personal nature. The inormation may be disclosed to, or collected on our behal by ourervice providers to enable the services to be provided, but will not be used by them or any other purpose.

. Booking made in Victoria: This condition 17 and the ollowing statutory warning apply i the booking is made inictoria. Sections 32J and 32JA o the Fair Trading Act 1999 Victoria (as amended) do not apply to this contract, being a

ontract or the supply o recreational services.

WARNING UNDER THE FAIR TRADING ACT 1999

nder the provisions o the Fair Trading Act 1999 several conditions are implied into contracts or the supply o certainoods and services. These conditions mean that the supplier named on this orm is required to ensure that the recreationalervices it supplies to you are—

rendered with due care and skill; and

as t for the purpose for which they are commonly bought as it is reasonable to expect in the circumstances; and

reasonably t for any particular purpose or might reasonably be expected to achieve any result you have made knownto the supplier.

nder section 32N o the Fair Trading Act 1999, the supplier is entitled to ask you to agree that these conditions do notpply to you. I you sign this orm, you will be agreeing that your rights to sue the s upplier under the Fair Trading Act 1999you are killed or injured because the services were not rendered with due care and skill or they were not reasonably t

or their purpose, are excluded, restricted or modied in the way set out in this orm.

OTE: The change to your rights, as set out in this orm, does not apply i your death or injury is due to gross negligencen the supplier’s part. “Gross negligence” is dened in the in the Fair Trading (Recreational Services) Regulations 2004.

. Jurisdiction: This agreement and the rights and obligations o the parties will be construed and take eect inccordance with and be governed by the laws o:

Victoria, in the case the of a booking made in the state of Victoria, or

New South Wales, in the case of a booking made elsewhere in Australianspired Adventures Pty Ltd ABN 46 125 426 468.

. Image and Likeness: I grant Inspired Advetures the right to take photographs and videos o me and my property inonnection to my participation on an inspired adventure. I authorise Inspired Adventures, its assigns and transerees toopyright, use and publish the same in print and/or electronically.

All prices are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied without notice. The price is only guaranteed whenaid in ull. Suchactors include adverse currency fuctuations, uel surcharges, taxes and airare increases. Please contact your Consultantor up to date prices.

efunds, Changes and Cancellation Fees:

We are unable to provide a reund to you until we receive the unds rom the relevant supplier. Cancelled bookings will incurharges. These charges can be up to 100% o the cost o the booking, regardless o whether travel has commenced. Feesnd extra charges will apply where a booking is changed. Fees and extra charges will also apply when tickets or documentsre re-issued. Where we incur any liability or a cancellation ee or charge or any booking which you cancel, you agree tondemniy us or the amount o that ee or charge.

ome o the specic terms which apply i you cancel a tour or change your booking are as ollows:

ancellation Fees: I you wish to cancel your tour the ollowing conditions apply:

Your $400 travel deposit which is non refundable and non transferable will be forfeited;

A $550 cancellation fee will be payable if cancellation occurs between 90-60 days prior to departure; and

• A $50 amendment fee will be charged if travel arrangements are amended within 60 days prior to departure

• Name changes are not permitted after full payment has been made. It is your responsibility to ensure that the name onyour itinerary matches the name on your passport; and

• Amendments to ights after full payment has been made will incur a fee of $200 per person plus any applicabledierence in airare charges and taxes.

Deposit and Final Payment:

You will be required to pay a $400 travel deposit at the time o booking. All deposits are non-reundable. Final payment isrequired no later than 60 days prior to departure unless otherwise stated. Some airares or services must be paid in ullat the time o booking.

Payments by Credit Card:

Credit card surcharges o 1.98% or Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and 3% or Diner’s Club will apply whenpaying by credit card. I or any reason any travel service provider is unable to provide the services or which you havecontracted, your remedy lies against that provider, and not against Flight Centre Limited. In the event that payment hasbeen made to Flight Centre Limited by credit card, you agree that you will not seek to charge back your payment to FlightCentre Limited.

Payments by B-Pay:

Please note that BPAY takes up to 3 business days to process. I you are paying by this method you will need to makethe payment at least 3 business days prior to the actual due date. You must notiy your consultant o your payment onceit has been made.

Payments by Cheque:

Please note that cheque payments (including bank cheques) require 5 business days to process. I you are paying by thismethod you will need to make the payment at least 5 business days prior to the actual due date. You agree not to stoppayment o the cheque even when you cancel a booking. You agree that we may apply the proceeds o the cheque tosatisy any liability you have to us, including any liability in respect o cancellation ees, beore reunding the balance to you.

Taxes:

Airline taxes are subject to change and are conrmed at the time your airline ticket is issued. There may also be a localtax charged at some airports.

Travel Insurance:

We are an authorised representative o CoverMore Travel Insurance Services Pty Ltd. Australian nancial services licencenumber 241713, on whose behal we act. You must obtain a Product Disclosure Statement relating to the product andconsider the statement beore making any decision about whether to acquire the product.

Travel Insurance is compulsory or all travelers participating in a tour and is strongly recommended by the Departmento Foreign Aairs and trade or all overseas travel. Please complete your travel insurance orm, sign it and return it toour oce. We cannot issue your insurance until this orm is provided regardless o whether payment has been made. Iyou decline CoverMore travel insurance and obtain travel insurance rom another supplier, you will be required to sign a

CoverMore disclaimer orm at the time o booking, a copy o which is included in your registration pack.Agency:

Flight Centre Limited acts as a travel agent only. We sell various travel related products on behal o numerous transport,accommodation and other wholesale service providers, such as airlines, coach, rail and cruise line operators. Flight CentreLimited’s obligation is to make travel bookings on your behal and to arrange relevant contracts between you and travelservice providers. We have no responsibility or these services nor do we make or give any warranty or representationregarding their standard. All bookings are made subject to the terms and conditions and limitations o liability imposed bythese service providers. Your legal recourse is against the specic provider and not Flight Centre Limited. I or any reason,any travel service provider is unable to provide the services or which you have contracted, your remedy lies against theprovider and not with Flight Centre Limited.

Liability:

We do not accept any liability o whatever nature, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, or the acts, omissions or deault,whether negligent or otherwise, o third party providers over whom we have no direct control. Under circumstances whereliability cannot be excluded, such liability is limited to the value o the purchased travel arrangements. We do not acceptany liability in contract, tort or otherwise or any injury, damage, loss (including consequential loss), delay, additionalexpense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by orce majeure or any other event which is beyond our control andwhich is not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part.

Flight Centre reserves the right to change any part, or the whole, o the arrangements contained within the tour plan, shouldconditions or circumstances beyond our reasonable control determine such action necessary. In such cases, we will useour reasonable endeavours to provide alternatives o the same standard, quality and duration as the original itinerary, or you

may cancel your tour in which case your deposit will be oreited. Furthermore, i you cancel as aoresaid, certain suppliercancellation policies may be applicable, or which you will be liable.

Monies not held on trust:

All monies paid by you to us will be the property o Flight Centre Limited and will be a debt due and payable to the travelservice provider once the services to which the money relates have been provided. You agree and acknowledge that suchmonies will not be held by Flight Centre Limited on trust or or on behal o You, and Flight Centre Limited may hold suchmonies in any account as it sees t, including with its own and/or other customer monies.

Special Requirements:

Please liaise with your consultant regarding any special requirements you may have or your travel arrangements such asspecial meal and seating requests.

Frequent Flyer:

Please advise your consultant o your requent fyer membership details or inclusion in your booking. Please check yourrequent fyer program or specic t erms o your membership. We cannot guarantee that the supplier will credit you withpoints or your booking.

Passports & Visas:

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid passports, visas and re-entry permits. Any nes, penalties, paymentsor expenditures incurred as a result o such documents not meeting the requirements will be your sole responsibility. Alltravelers must have a valid passport or international travel and many countries require at least 6 months validity rom thedate o return. I you need inormation regarding visa and other travel document requirements or your trip please let us

know. We can obtain such inormation rom an external visa advisory service provider on your behal. We do not warrantthe accuracy o such inormation and accept no liability or any loss or damage which you may suer in reliance on it. I youwish, we can obtain visas or you through this external service and ees will apply. I you are traveling to the United Statesplease see https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov or inormation regarding compulsory pre-registration or their visa waiver program.

Travel Advice:

Health:

You must ensure that you are aware o any health requirements or your travel and ensure that you carry all necessaryvaccination documentation. Please check with your local doctor or specialist vaccination clinic.

Travel Documents:

Travel documents include (without limitation) airline tickets, hotel vouchers, tour vouchers or any other document (whetherin electronic orm or otherwise) used to conrm an arrangement with a ser vice provider. Travel documents may be subjectto certain conditions and/or restrictions including (without limitation) being non-reundable, non-date- changeable andsubject to cancellation and/or amendment ees. Travel documents cannot be transerred to another person to use. Allairline tickets must be issued in the name o the passport/photo identity holder. An incorrect name on a booking mayresult in an inability to use that booking and the booking being cancelled. Any errors in names, dates and timings on yourdocumentation will be your responsibility i not advised at the time o booking. It is your responsibility to collect all traveldocuments rom us prior to travel. As a general rule your travel documents will be available or collection 2 weeks prior todeparture, however this will depend on your individual arrangements. Please contact your consultant to conrm when yourtravel documents are ready or collection.

Governing Law:

I any dispute arises in relation to the agreement between you and us as constituted by these terms and conditionsor otherwise, the laws o Queensland, Australia will apply. You irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the exclusive jurisdiction o the courts o Queensland, Australia, and waive any right that you may have to object to an action beingbrought in those courts.
