Reg. Borinqueneer ever to receive the Medal of Honor, the Naon's highest award for ind

vidual heroism, received the honor (posthumously) on March 18, 2014, along with severa

other minority heroes aer it was determined that their extreme heroism was under-

recognized in the past due to prejudice. Very sadly, only 3 of the 24 minority veterans we

alive to accept the long-overdue recognion. We honor & thank them all!

It is hoped that Pres. Obamas presentaon will also help to spotlight our historic cause!
