OUR VISION
The primary objective of the school is to create ‘Great Practices’that achieve excellence in architectural design, which not only needs theskilful creation of architectural forms and pleasing aesthetics but also takeinspirations from an in depth bank of technical knowledge and practical knowhow.Our vision is to achieve a sought after partnership among the scienti�cand business communities by employing leading edge of technology into ourdesign thinking. Thereby we intend to produce competent graduates, whoenter their careers in di�erent sectors and contribute to the industry.Our pedagogic intent revolves around ‘problem-solving’ approach,where technical and theoretical knowledge is well integrated. Our objectivesare also evident in our teaching methods which encourage the ‘out of the box’thinking and enable learning utilizing innovative methods and experimentation.Due to this, Aditya College of Architecture has set out to become a landmarkin architectural education.The institute’s uniqueness also lies in its location in the city of Mumbai,coupled with the state of the art infrastructure and impeccably talented andexperienced people gathered here. All of them nurture a di�erent vision aboutthe architectural education, making this the strength of the institute since itsinception, and one that will only get stronger and more enriched with time.We mentor our students to imbibe our values and insights into thestate of the art facility that nourish and amplify the students’ talent to mouldthem into the masters of tomorrow. Every incoming candidate is encouragedto be prepared to take risks if need be, to achieve success and gain fruitfulreturns with our strong support. Our students are encouraged to participatein various seminars, workshops, events and also organise competitions atinternational level throughout the academic year to facilitate discussion onvarious architectural topics among student communities globally.The School also demonstrates its commitment in bridging academic excellenceand professional development through individual mentoring programs andactive engagement through professional in the �eld of architecture.This webelieve will prove to be indispensable when the students venture out into theindustry and so will be prepared to deal with it and become successful.

PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGEMENTOR’S MESSAGEAditya Group of Institutions known for its innovative thinking in the field of education had earned its unflinching place in the mind of public.Being associated with one of the Institutions as its mentor, I got many opportunities to make staff and student think out of box and do something ne, which others have not thought of.
International degign competition of students of architecture, which is being conducted since my association wityh the college of Architecture and the “ Arghya’ Borivali Design Fair, being conducted for the first time in Borivali under my convener ship ,is the outcome of such innovative thinking of Staff- students and firm support of management under the unique leadership of visionary Shri Harishchandra Mishra, the founder Trustee.
It is said that “man proposes & God disposes”. However the Aditya Group of Institutions with collective efforts of all, has proved this saying false even under current adverse situation, and managed to come with flying colours to present before you ‘ Arghya’ the Borivali Design Fair for the first time in Borivali.
I wish all of you will enjoy this 3 days fair by heart and cherish its memories in many years ahead. Wishing all of you A very HAPPY NEW YEAR 2017
Due to guidance of inspiration our f founder trustee Shri Harishchandra Mishra ji, Shri Gurunath Dalvi Sir we have taken a step ahead in launching ‘Arghya – The Borivali Design Fair’.
‘Arghya’ – meaning offering. Our offering to the community around us has been our endeared objective and by all means we were determined to take the first step this year. In past few months we have taken huge efforts in inviting eminent Architects, Interior designers, artists, dancers, singers and citizens by providing them a platform to showcase their talents in Arghya - the Borivali Design Fair. ‘Arghya’ has been envisaged as an event of joy, fun and frolic, showcasing various building materials and live workshops, competitions and demonstrations of various arts and crafts. The entire design fair is being supported by corporates, industry partners, well-wishers to make it a grand success. In putting up the event our faculty has put in an extreme hard work and shown extraordinary commitment in completing various difficult tasks. Our students have come together, lived moments of spirit and have made their own organisational plans to make the event a great success. I truly feel proud of them. Finally, what is the measure of success and failure is a matter of a ‘Viewpoint’ and a subjective judgement. What matters here the most is how we as a team stood by the cause, purpose.
