Robotics Training Mrs G had a fantastic robotics training day at Macquarie University last week. The students were very pleased to have help problem solving in their robotics lesson last week. As we approach the end of the year planning for next year 2015 is currently happening. At the moment school student numbers and staffing changes are vital to this planning. We will be asking parents to complete a survey regarding the direction of the school. This information will guide our School Plan for 2015 and also support the 2014 Annual School Report. Sport Swimming Lessons including clothes for water safety component

Swimming As part of the Swim School Program that your child is attending we do a water safety component. As part of this component the children learn how to get out of clothes in the water under supervision. This is planned for Friday 21 November; could each child please bring to swim school that day an old pair of either a long sleeved track top and long pants or a pair of flannelette pyjamas with buttons down the front, bigger rather than smaller, as well as their swimming costume, plus a waterproof bag to carry them back to school. Thank You. Jo Tait Home Reading Congratulations to Hannah Taberner, Zachy Levi, Bridget Watts, Cooper Klose, Sophie Smith, William Nutt, Makayla McEvoy, Rian Percy, Edward Nutt, Xavier Vials, Justice Robinson, Sofia Taberner, Zimmy Levi, Eleanor Vials and Ruby Nesbitt for reaching the school goal of 200 nights home reading. All students who reach the target before 25 November can order a book to the value of $10.00 from Bookclub #8.
Local Schools Local Decisions Financial Management Course Mrs Henry and Ms Harris will be attending this workshop in Bathurst on Wednesday 26 November. This course will enable us to use the new financial, organisation and data collection system being introduced in schools.
Orange Regional Museum Ms Harris will be attending the Orange Regional Museum workshop for teachers on Thursday 27 November at 3.30pm. This workshop will be presented by Janis Hanley, who is a specialist in designing educational programs.
