To minimum damage to cages
during reinforcement fitting it is
necessary to follow the procedure
indicated in Fig.
1. used of a purpose-made lifting
beam
2. welding of 25 mm steel lifting
lugs to the top of the cage cages
and
3.welding of at least of 3 binders
within the cage to each main bar

The reinforcement cages should be
prepared as shown in Fig.
-Check the spacing bar are sufficient to ensure
minimum concrete to steel and that the cage is
correctly dimensioned (100 mm cover)
-Lower the c age un t i l i t s top s tee l i s
approximately 1 m above the top of the casing.
-Put two short 3 m length steel beams such as
rail through reinforcement beneath a binder hoop
of the cage to rest across the top of the casing.
-Lower the cage onto the beams and ensure that
the support is strong and secure.
-Remove the lifting beam and cut off lifting lug
f r o m t h e i n s t a l l e d c a g e .
-Lower the next cage onto the installed cage.
-Ensure overlap is 45 times the main bar
diameter.
-Weld together a min imum of 10 main
(longitudinal) bars, each 200 mm length.
-Lift joined caged sections to take out of the
supporting beams.
-Lower to correct level or to 1 meter below the
top of the next cage for next installing sequence.

Disadvantages Of R.C.D

• Poor management of performance causes collapse of hole wall
• Loosened foundation at pile tip
• Loosened ground around pile
• Lowered quality of concrete due to poor management

This method is applicable when the drilling rig is used as air lift drill. Air is
injected from a compressor through a swivel joint. (An air drill pipe and jet nozzle are
used). The S 320 main body uses a hydraulic pump for driving the rotary table without
employing a suction pump, vacuum pump, etc.
Water is drained directly from the swivel joint to the water tank.

This method is general used. There is no wall surface breakage due to
vibration of rotary table. The water tank is connected with the stand pipe through
a hose. Water is supplied with a submersible pump. The water level in the stand
pipe can be adjust easily by submersible pump in water tank.
