Border 2 (Flying Geese Assembly and Corner Posts)Trace a pencil line from corner to corner on the wrong side of the 96 brown bubble 3½” squares. Place a brown square in the corner of one of the 3½” x 6½” rectangles and sew on the pencil line. Leave a ¼” seam allowance and trim excess. Repeat for all 48 rectangles. Press seam toward triangle. Repeat on the other side of the rectangles. See diagram.

Refer to quilt photo for placement of fabrics. Sew two rows with fifteen flying geese. Sew a row to each side of the quilt center. Sew two rows with nine flying geese. Sew a 6½” green cupcake square to each end of these rows. Sew these rows to the top and bottom of the quilt center.

Border 3Sew the five 1½” red dot strips together end to end. Side borders should be 57½”. Top and bottom borders should be 41½”.

Border 4Sew the six 7” main print strips together end to end. Side borders should be 59½”. Top and bottom borders should be 54½”.

Quilt FinishingFinish quilt by layering the quilt top, batting, and back. Bind with your favorite Riley Blake Designs fabric from the Domestic Diva Collection. Have fun with the colors and enjoy the journey of making your quilt.

NoteThere can be variations in the size of the panel. The pattern says it is 24½” (This measurement could vary up to an 1”. Please make adjustments accordingly.) I made adjustments in the red damask Border 1. The side borders are cut 1¾” x 45½”. The top and bottom borders are cut 2¾” x 27½. Please measure your panel to make sure the above measurements will work.
