All teachers hold university degrees, and many have received advanced degrees in TEFL/TESOL or related fields. Strong professional skills together with warm and caring attitude set our faculty apart from others.
Our method of placement testing allows students to be placed into the most appropriate level for each skill area. We have 8 level scale and most students belong to level between 2 to 5.
With a number of different course options, durations and start dates every Monday, we are sure to have a program that meets your learning needs and language goals.
We encourage students to participate in our activities, which gives them the opportunity to get to know their classmates, practice their English, explore Boracay island(neighbor islands as well), and experience the culture.
Our level system is based on International language standards, which is so-called CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference). We use books and materials which unable our students learn English faster and efficiently.

Unlike other tourist spots, the surroundings are quiet and peaceful, the neighbors are friendly, and the view from the school is fantastic – overlooking the whole Boracay island because we are located on top of the hill. Moreover, it is only 900 meters away from White Beach!
Our campus is very beautiful as you see our photos. The dormitory rooms are clean and spacious. We are sure that the quality of the rooms and the campus is almost similar to other 4 star resorts.

Students can participate in school activities such as Yoga, Island hopping, Mainland tour, Sunset sailing, etc.
School Policy
[Clause 1] Registration and Payment1. Enrollment shall be done through registration in the official website of the academy or authorized agencies and corresponding payment shall be made after confirmation of the registration. During peak seasons, enrollment must be done at least one month before the following term starts.2. After receiving the corresponding invoice from the school, a deposit (300$ per person) should be paid in 7 days to confirm the booking.3. The remaining tuition and accommodation fee shall be paid 1 month before the student arrive at the school.4. The minimum length of study in the academy is 1 weeks. The minimum length of a study extension is 1 weeks.
[Clause 2] Refund1. Cancellation before departure1) 1 month before departure date : All paid fees are refunded except for the deposit (300$).2) From 2 week to 1 month before departure date : USD 200$ as cancellation fee and the deposit (300$) shall be deducted from the total amount of the fee already paid.3) Less than 1 week before departure date : Registration fee and 2 week course & accommodation fee shall be deducted from the total amount of the fee already paid.2. Cancellation after departure1) A cancellation form must be filled out and submitted to an authorized school manager.2) First 4 week fee is non refundable.3) If cancellation is made within 50% of total period, 50% of remaining fee will be refunded excluding first 4 weeks.4) If cancellation is made after 50% of total period, 25% of remaining fee will be refunded excluding first 4 weeks.5) Violation of school rules by the student shall not be tolerated. When a student is expelled due any severe violations, he/she shall not be entitled to any refund of his/her deposit and the fee corresponding to the remaining period of stay in the school premises.6) Upon completion and submission of the cancellation form, the school manager shall verify the reasons given through personal consultation with the student. Thereafter, processing of the refund shall be completed within 30 days.
[Clause 1] Accident, Incident, Natural disasters1. The school shall not be held responsible for any incident or accident which happens outside the school premises while students are on trip or during weekends or when they are out during weekdays. It shall be the sole accountability of the students to keep themselves safe and to be aware of what is prohibited.2. The school shall not be held responsible for any lost or missing items. It shall be the sole accountability of the students to guard and keep their valuable belongings in a safe place.3. In the event that classes are cancelled or suspended due to natural disasters, delayed flights, or any other transportation concerns, the school shall not be obliged to provide a makeup class for such cancellation or suspension.
[Clause 2] Study Extension1. A study extension is on a first come and first reserved basis.2. When a student fails to submit the extension form before the deadline, extension might be cancelled without prior notice.3. A study extension fee must be made within 3 days after such extension is confirmed by the school manager. In case that a student fails to make a deposit on/before the deadline, he/she should verbally inform the manager of the delay.4. In the event that a student would like to cancel the intended extension before the extended class term begins, only 50 percent of the paid fee shall be refunded.5. Application for extension should be made through the school. If it is filed through an agency, the extension will lose its validity.
[Clause 3] Class and Change of a teacher1. All regular classes are 45-minute long and there is a 10-minute break every after regular class.2. If a student is late for more than 15 minutes, he / she shall be considered absent even if he/she attended the class.3. There are 5 class days in a week, and one term is composed of 4 weeks.4. Boracay Coco English Academy strictly observes national, local and special holidays and no classes shall be conducted on those days specified by Philippine laws.5. There is no refund of class fee, school resort room charges, and other school service expenditures caused by natural disasters and incidents that are beyond control.6. Class teachers are assigned every 4 weeks. If a student would like to request for a change of teacher, it shall be granted after 2 weeks. In the event that a student requests for an immediate change of his/her teacher, he/she should meet the school manager.7. A request for an extra class should be discussed with the school manager. The payment for a class should be made at least 1 week before the class starts.8. In the event of labor disputes, resignation of faculty members, cases where any faculty members do not comply with the school policy including punctuality, display of good behavior, student and member relationship, the school has the right to take immediate action to correct it and classes or teachers shall be changed.9. If a student’s level is too low or too advanced to be grouped with other classmates, the school has the right to change/modify his/her classes and in that case, the student cannot request for the refund or any other financial claim.
[Clause 4] Change of Course, Program or CurriculumThe school course and program are subject to change in accordance with the changes in curriculum without prior notice on the school website or Social Network Service medium.
[Clause 5] Certificate of GraduationA Certificate of Graduation shall be given to those who presents more than 90% of classes for the entire duration of their stay.

[Clause 1] Personal BelongingsThe school shall not be held responsible for any lost or missing items. It shall be the sole accountability of the students to guard and keep their valuable belongings in a secured place.(The school shall keep valuable belongings upon request.)
[Clause 2] Bringing or Drinking Alcohol Beverages1-1. It is strictly prohibited to bring and/or drink alcoholic beverages inside the school building.1-2. If a particular student joins other students who are drinking alcohol, the said student, even though is not drinking with them, shall likewise be given a warning.1-3 Students can drink alcoholic beverages ONLY at the smoking hut inside the campus.2. If a student bothers/disturbs other people, classes, business inside and outside the school premises, or doesn’t follow instructions on purpose or under the influence of alcohol, the school has the right to inform his/her parents and the student shall be expelled from the school immediately.
[Clause 3] School Resort room Rules1. No student is allowed to enter other students’ room regardless of the gender. When a student gets caught entering another student’s room, he/she shall be given a warning.2. In order not to disturb classes, loud conversations between/among students along the hallway are strictly prohibited. They are however allowed to talk freely at the lounges.3. All students must observe silence from 10 pm to 7 am of the following day.
[Clause 4] Going out And Staying overnight1. The restrictions below provide for the allowable time for students to go out. If a student fails to follow the schedule as herein provided,he/she shall be given warning.· Monday to Thursday : by midnight· Friday and Saturday : by 2 am of the following day· Sunday : by midnight※ When there is a holiday before a regular class resumes, all students must follow the rules applicable for Sunday.2. Staying overnight outside the campus premises is not allowed from Monday to Thursday.
[Clause 5] SmokingSmoking is only allowed at a designated smoking area. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the campus.
[Clause 6] Electric AppliancesStudents are not allowed to use any electric appliances such as coffee maker, portable burner, etc. in their own rooms.For any damage that the school or resort may suffer inside/outside the property as a result of such violation, the students concerned shall be made responsible in the payment of corresponding fine or penalties.
[Clause 7] School ID and Dress Code1. All students are required to wear school ID inside the school premises. If a student is not wearing his/her ID, he/she shall not be allowed to enter, come out, or eat at the school cafeteria.2. All students are required to wear proper attires inside the school premises. If it is considered not proper, he/she may not be allowed to attend classes.
[Clause 8] Deposit1. All students are advised not to incur any damage to school properties and facilities.2. The school requires all students to pay deposit in cash to cover for any possible damages and is refunded in full upon checkout on the last day if no damage was incurred by the student.3. For any damage that the school or resort rooms may suffer inside/outside the property as a result of such violation, the students concerned shall be made responsible in the payment of corresponding fine or penalties.
[Clause 9] Expulsion1. When a student has accumulated 3 counts of violation of major rules, he/she shall be expelled from the school.Major rules : Prohibition on bringing or drinking alcohol beverages, smoking in areas that are not designated for such, entering other students’ room.2. When a student is expelled from the school, no refund shall be made for the remaining term he/she has already paid. Also, the school will not issue a Certificate of Graduation.
