automated patient movement planning and

tracking system that is helping the U.S. military

save lives. Combining web technology with

changes in organization structure, processes,

policies and training; TRAC2ES makes it

movement and treatment of military patients

and their family members using the military’s

airlift capability and worldwide hospital

strategic communications, and program management

support for the Defense Enterprise Accounting &

Management System (DEAMS), a ground-breaking joint

program being developed at Scott AFB

by the Air Force, U.S. Transportation Command and the

Defense Finance and Accounting Service.

• DEAMS uses a commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) Oracle 11i

instance to replace inefficient legacy financial systems.

DEAMS complies with DoD’s business enterprise

architecture and provides timely, accurate, and reliable

financial management support to the Nation’s warfighters.

• DEAMS full capability technology demonstration went live at

Scott AFB in May 2010 with the first production deployment

at McConnell AFB in October 2012.

logistic assessment Business Case Analysis

(BCA) on the C-17 sustainment program that

determined the best value for Globemaster III

sustainment for depot support, product support,

and material management. This BCA, hailed as

the Gold Standard, was briefed to the CSAF and

OSD. Booz Allen is now conducting a follow on

KC-10 sustainment BCA

• Booz Allen helped establish AMC’s BCA protocols

and BCA fundamentals training for FEO personnel,

• Booz Allen assists HQ Air Mobility Command with

requirements management, acquisition program

guidance, and strategy to interface precision

airdrop mission planner hardware and software

with the U.S. Army’s 2,400-pound and 10,000-

pound autonomous guidance systems.

The mission planning system’s airdrop

software uses technology that assimilates data

near the drop zone and computes mission data

to create an accurate air release point. The

result is a capability to airdrop 2,000 pound

guided payload delivery systems from up to

25,000 ft. MSL and place them within 150

meters of a planned impact point.

• Booz Allen assists HQ Air Mobility Command in

requirements management and transition strategy for

wireless gate release system (WGRS) to provide exit

time separation for airdropping containerized delivery

systems or JPADS autonomous guided systems.

Sponsored by USTRANSCOM and collaborative RDT&E efforts with US ARMY NRDEC, the WGRS can be used in lieu of the conventional container release system, allowing aircrews maximum flexibility in releasing single or multiple containers from either side of the aircraft, with a user-defined time interval between same-side or opposite side sticks simultaneously.

computation technology to airdrop the

Army’s low-cost expendable

containerized systems.

The Consolidated Airdrop Tool software has made it possible to precisely deliver expendable airdrop systems from high altitudes which keep aircraft distant from surface-to-air weaponry, yet directly deliver the combat supplies to the soldier in the battlefield. The low cost, low velocity, system is the Army’s number one option in Afghanistan.
