Bookouture snaps up mind-blowing Nazi conspiracy thriller. Bookouture’s Publishing Director Claire Bord has acquired World English Language rights in two novels by Iain King, via agent Clare Hulton. Claire commented, ‘Secrets of the Last Nazi is a wholly original, clever and action-packed debut, rooted in the Third Reich’s real fascination with astrology and predicting the future.’ Iain says ‘I’m thrilled to have signed with Bookouture. Secrets of the Last Nazi involved a great deal of detailed research, and what I discovered was profoundly shocking. I know many people will find it hard to believe, or refuse to believe it. The book is my attempt to wrap those truly amazing facts in a clever tale.’ Iain King has worked in warzones, politics, teaching and journalism. In Afghanistan he served alongside both of Britain’s most senior casualties, and in more frontline bases than any other civilian. He is one of the youngest people ever to be made a Commander of the British Empire (CBE). Bord went on to say, ‘with our first crime debut, Angela Marson’s Silent Scream launching into the Kindle Top Ten on pre-orders alone this month, we’re keen to build our Crime and Thriller offering at Bookouture.
