Picture it @ PFTSTA Library Design a Book Mark Contest For Teen Read Week October 17 th – 21 st The theme of this year’s Teen Read Week is Picture It @ your library. Show us how well you can picture your favorite book in a small space. Design a bookmark in the rectangle provided that gives us the spirit of a book or story. Only one entry per student is allowed. All designs are due in the library by Wednesday, October 26 th at 2:30PM. Winners will be announced on Monday, October 31 st . The judges are educators with no connection to PFTSTA. The judges will be judging each entry on your portrayal of the literature that you have selected, the aesthetic design (attractiveness), and your creativity in executing this design. Use a BLACK felt tip marker or pen or pencil on your bookmark. Designs should be in black and white only. All bookmarks should include the title, author and your name. Your bookmark may be drawn from a horizontal or vertical perspective. You must stay within the lines provided. You may create your design on the computer, but it must fit in the space provided below. Two winners will be selected-- one student from middle school and one student from high school. Each winner will receive a $20 gift card to Barnes & Noble Bookstore, and their bookmark reproduced for the whole school.
