Sometimes I want to live alone like Robinson. There are some advantage
and disadvantage. Advantage is that I can live happily and can dowhatever I want. Disadvantage is that I cannot take anyones help even
if I am in trouble.
Twenty five years later, he saved a man from cannibals and civilizedhim. Crusoe called him Friday, and taught him important things like
English and Christianity. After three years, Crusoe and Friday returnedLondon in June, 1687 with the help of an English captain.Crusoe foundthat his parents were dead. Crusoe discovered that he was rich because
of some previous investments. He got married and became father of
three children. After the death of his wife, he had to travel for more 10years.
I don't find the end of the book because he was escaped and came back
home, but there was no emotional payoff. At the last moment, he told
about another adventure. I understand that this is just an "adventure
novel" but many people still consider it a classic.
I like this book, so I recommend this book to my friends especially tomy best friend. This book makes me courageous because of Robinson's
adventure and contains a lot of philosophy. Most of the people are
familiar with the basic premise of this book, but there is so much moreto it than simply a man's struggle to survive on an island after a
shipwreck. Defoe gives us a touching and resonating view on the
repentance process and the ability of a man to reshape his attitude and
outlook on life.
